Will You Take This Ring?

(NON PLATONIC)

           Today, Garcello and Annie were going on a double date with Boyfriend and Girlfriend at a fancy restaurant. Annie wore her favorite black dress and her hair in a messy bun, while Garcello just wore a black suit. Girlfriend said that she'd pay for the food because Annie and Garcello didn't have the money for it. Garcello would've paid for it, however he spent the money on something a little more special..

           "You ready to go?" Garcello asked Annie. "Yeah!" She replied. The both of them headed out the door, this time Garcello didn't pick up his cigarettes. Then, Garcello hopped in the drivers seat of the car and Annie sat in the passenger seat next to him.

          "Tonight's gonna be special." Garcello said, smiling at Annie. Annie looked confused. "Why? What do you mean?" She asked. "You'll see." Garcello replied. "For now, wanna listen to our favorite song?" He asked. Annie's face lit up. "Of course!" She said. "Alright." Garcello said. He turned the other way and turned the song on and placed his hand down in between him and Annie. Then the smoker drove off.

           The couple pulled up about 40 minutes later. Garcello hopped out of the car before Annie. "You seem excited today!" Annie said, getting out of the car. "I'm more nervous than excited.." Garcello replied. he put his hand behind his head. "Why? We've been on double dates before." Annie asked, confused. Garcello just smiled at her. "Lets just go inside." He said.

           They walked into the restaurant and immediately began looking for Boyfriend and Girlfriend. It took them a couple minutes, but eventually the duo heard a high pitched voice from behind. Garcello and Annie turned around. it was boyfriend and girlfriend!

           "Hey guys!" Annie called out to them. Annie and Garcello walked over to BF and GF.  "Hey Annie! Hi Garcello!" Boyfriend said. "Its been a while, huh." Garcello said. "last time we saw you guys, you were saving my ass from death!" Girlfriend laughed a bit. "Yeah, that night was pretty scary." she said. "Good thing my dad can save souls!" 

           The group sat down at a nearby table, Annie next to Garcello and Boyfriend next to Girlfriend. "That night was so scary! I really didn't wanna lose you Garcy.." Annie said, her face turning unhappy. Boyfriend sighed. "Me either, and i'm sure GF didn't want you gone either.." Boyfriend said. "I'm sorry for scaring you all like that, i just couldn't take singing another song." The smoker replied. "But.. lets get off this topic, i don't really like talking about it." 

             They talked about some other things for a few minutes before the waitress came and took their orders. After the group took their orders, they chilled for about 30 more minutes. Eventually, their food arrived.

            "Mmm! it looks so good!" Annie said, shoving a piece of food in her mouth. "What do u mean it LOOKS good, you just ate it.." Boyfriend asked. Annie looked at bf with a slightly annoyed face. "I mean its good." she replied. "Not gonna lie though, this is the best food ive tasted in a while!" Girlfriend nodded in agreement. "Its even better than the last time my dad cooked dinner for everyone!" She said. "Well.. that might be because a lot of people who ate that food got food poisoning the next day.." Annie replied. 

           "Heh, i guess your right." Gf said.

           "Garcy, you've been oddly quiet today. Whats up?" Annie asked Garcello. Garcello just shrugged. "D-Dunno.. probably because i just haven't been around many people in a hot minute!" He replied nervously. "Im gonna go to the restroom for a few minutes.. Alright guys?" The smoker said. Everyone was quiet for a few seconds. "Alright." Annie said. She kissed Garcello's cheek which made him blush a bright red. Garcello smiled at Annie and quickly got up to go to the bathroom.

           "Hope hes feelin' okay.. hes been looking a little nervous this whole time." Girlfriend said. "Yeah, he told me he was feeling nervous earlier but didn't tell me why!" Annie replied. 

With Garcello..

           He quickly ran into the bathroom, Locked the door and stared at himself in the mirror. Sweat was dripping down his face. "Why am i so nervous..? I know Annie loves me.. it wouldn't make her distant if i did it.." He thought. "I hope.." 

           About 30 minutes later, Garcello was still in the restroom. The group began to worry. "Whats taking him so long?" Girlfriend asked. "I don't know, i hope he didn't have an upset stomach!" Annie replied. "I think he'll be fine. he would've told us if he wasn't feeling well-" Boyfriend suddenly remebered what Garcello told him a few days ago. "OHH.. i'm gonna go check on him.." He said, getting up out his seat. The two girls watched him go to the bathroom in confusion. 

           "Yo Garcello, you alright?" Boyfriend said, knocking on the door. "I'm fine.. just super stressed." Garcello replied. 

Garcello let Boyfriend into the bathroom.

           "I just don't get it.. I'm so nervous to ask her.." Garcello said. "What if she says no..? She'd probably leave me." He was shaking. "Woah! slow down a bit." Boyfriend replied. "You know Annie has a kind heart and even if she wasn't ready for it i don't think she'd leave you." Garcello sighed and looked at the ground. "You can do it, Garcello. I know you can!" BF told him.

            The two came out of the bathroom a few minutes later and sat down at the table. "Garcy! Are you alright? You took a while.." Annie asked the smoker. "Oh, yeah i'm fine now!" Garcello replied with a smile. "What took you guys so long?" GF asked. Boyfriend signaled for her to come closer to him and whispered something in her ear. "Oooh!" She said smiling. Annie just looked super confused, but didn't say anything assuming it was a surprise. 

             Everyone talked for a little while longer. Eventually, it started getting late and the group decided it was time to get ready to go home.

           "Everyone ready?" Girlfriend asked. The rest of the group nodded in agreement. "Wait!" Garcello said. "Annie, ive got something to ask you.." 

            The area around them went silent. Garcello took both of Annies hands and stared into her eyes. It seemed like everyone was staring at them which made Garcello super nervous. He sighed and said; "Annie, you're the most beautiful girl i've ever met. You've always made sure that i'm happy and i always try to make sure you're happy. You're.. amazing. So.." He pulled a small box out of his pocket and nervously got on one knee. Garcello opened the small box and there was a ring inside. 

"Will you.. marry me?"

Annie was silent for a moment. "Yes.. YES OF COURSE I WILL!!" She replied smiling.

           Garcello's face lit up. he closed the box, put it back in his pocket and got up off his knee. Annie jumped into his arms as the both of them fell into the ground laughing. The croud around them started clappping and a few people even said; "Aww!" Boyfriend smiled. it was nice not to have the attention on him and his girlfriend for once. "I knew he could do it." He said. 

        Eventually, it was time to leave. Garcello and Annie said goodbye to BF and GF and went to their car. Both of them sat down.

           "Was that why you seemed so nervous today?" Annie asked. Garcello smiled a bit. "Yeah.. i thought you would've said no!" he said. "Well, of course i said yes! You know i love you a lot baby, you saved me from being homeless and you've never stopped caring for me ever since.. Thank you so much!" Annie said with a smile. both of them were quiet for a second. ".. C'mere." Garcello told Annie. Their faces got closer and closer to each other.. until they kissed. 

"I love you so much Garcy!"

"I love you too!"
