Locklynn is a teenage girl, but with a family who doesn't care about her, that is until she runs away and meets Devin, a boy her age with a connection to wolves.
Locklynn POV Me and Devin have been noticing Lilac seems almost sick now and Axle is always around her. "What did your oversized mut do to my precious baby?!?" I yell at Devin. "NOTHING!!" He yelled back. "DEVIN I KNOW THAT DEMON MUT DID SOMETHING TO MY ANGEL BABY!" I yell back with a pillow over my head ready to throw at him. "Axle did nothing to that she devil you call a baby!" He yells back at me grabbing a pillow of his own as we stand on the couch. "I didn't wanna do this but...... THOMAS ANDREW BANKS WHAT DID THAT DEVIL DO!" I yell at him as he starts slightly laughing "LOCKLYNN RAIN WOODS I DONT KNOW!" He yells back as I start laughing too. "I'll call the vet!" I say as I reach for the phone. "I'll grab the little devil since she won't like the vet too much." Devin says making me laugh. The vet showed up 15 minutes later and checked Lilac. "Well good news! She's pregnant with 4 wolf pups." The vet says with a smile. "Really thank you so much for checking on her!" I say to the vet as she leaves. I glance over at Devin and say "I have never loved your mut so much before but now I wanna see some wolf puppies!" I say excitedly. Devin laughs at my reaction. Devin POV "Cute" I think to myself as Locklynn jumps up and down like a child. "We have to start school tomorrow, wanna have a movie night tonight?" I ask as Locklynn stops in her tracks and immediately starts shaking her head yes. "I was hoping you'd agree cause I might have set it up already." I say with a small smile on my face. "REALLY?!?" She says excitedly. "Mhm, come on I'll show you." Locklynn POV As we walk into the room I was shocked by how much work Devin put into this!

"Alright pick a movie." He says. "I'm fine with anything." I reply but soon regret it when he puts on a horror movie. "Your evil." I say playfully hitting his arm when he puts the movie in. "I know." He says with his classic smirk on his face. As the movie starts so does my anxiety. "A clown movie.... Really Devin. He knows I hate these things!" I think to myself regretting agreeing. Once the jump scares start I start getting scared myself. He glances over and sees me hiding under a blanket. "What's wrong, you scared?" He says teasingly getting closer and closer to me in an attempt to scare me. "NO!" I yell back, "Lilac come watch a movie with us!" I yell at the wolf as she runs over to the blankets and lays down. Devin POV As we are watching the movie I glance over and realize quickly that Locklynn and her wolf are asleep. "Hm, she's really cute." I think to myself. I turn off the TV and carry her to her room as a sleepy Lilac and Axle follow behind us. I lay her in her bed and say "Good night Locklynn. Sweet dreams." I cover her with a blanket and go to my room and lay in my own bed. "I hope everything goes well at school tomorrow. Hopefully her step dad doesn't realize where she is." I think to myself worrying slightly when Axle comes and lays in his bed. I glance down at him and eventually go to bed.
