Growing up in Akika Village, there wasn't really a need to fight. The people there were mostly elderly and those with kids. While most had Quirks, only a handful of people had abilities that could be deemed as harmful.

And they seemed to be the sweetest of them all.

There weren't any criminal, except for the occasional late night dessert thief. Most wildlife stuck to the forest with only a handful of strays wandering about. And the government just about gave up trying to monitoring the tiny land that hasn't even updated from phonebooths.

"Remember, when you swing your legs don't root yourself in place but spin with it!" Mirko instructed, blocking a punched aimed at her chest.

[Y/n] mimicked her instructions. Her movements swift as it collided with the hero's forearm. No doubt leaving a bruise in its place.

"Yea!" Mirko cheered, pumping her fist up. "Just like that! Put more power into it though! Those bad guys really need to feel it!" Mirko threw a fist toward the girl. It was knocked away by an open palm to her wrist before the girl kicked at the hero's ankle, throwing her off balance. Mirko caught herself, before swinging her other leg around. Kicking the girl back a fair distance.

[Y/n]'s shoes slid across the grass before she finally fell.

"You nearly got me there." Mirko panted, wiping the sweat from her brow.

Since nine in the morning, the bunny hero had the girl go through self defense techniques. While she would be a medic in the field, she still needed to learn how to protect herself. She couldn't rely on someone coming to protect her.

"Did you need to kick me so far?" [Y/n] sat up from the ground. Wiping away the smudge of dirt on her cheek.

"Trust me, I could've kicked you a lot farther." Mirko rubbed her already bruising arm with a frown. It was turning purple. "That's enough training for the day. We can't kill too much energy if we plan to do patrols in an hour."
