Several days had passed in the Stark household before the funeral for Howard and Maria Stark was held.

During these days there were some people coming to visit and give their condolences. Obadiah was one of those people.

He came to check up on Tony and his "well being", more like if he was able to continue making weapons for the company.

Tony didn't shy away from those conversations when they came. He took them with stride and held his opinion firm.

Just like in his previous lifeline he decided to take over the company at 21 years, which was 4 years from the current time.

The reason he did this was because if he didn't wait and closed the weapons devision too early there'd be suspicion arising galore. They'd definitely question his mental stability and they'd also have the excuse of Howard and Maria dying ready for him to give up the company.

Once he reached 21 years though, he'd be in full control and ownership of the company and no one would be able to interfere with his decisions.

Today was the day of the funeral and also the day his aunt Peggy would arrive. She had promised to be extra early so they could maybe catch up beforehand.

It was around 6am that Tony was awoken by James. They had all taken to calling him James as Tony found the name "Bucky" utterly ridiculous.

"Leave 'e 'lone." Tony grunted when he heared a knock on the door.

"Come on Tony, Agent Carter is gonna arrive in half an hour, you've got to get ready if you don't wanna great her in your PJs." James replied amused.

Tony grunted again but this time he sat up and stretched his arms out above his head.

"Thanks for wakin' me." Tony mumbled as he got up from his bed. He walked over to the, in his eyes, giant teddybear and hugged him tightly before vanishing into the bathroom.

Over the couple of days James had stayed with them, they had kind of settled into a routine.

James would come up to his room to wake him up. Tony would hug him before continuing with his bathroom routine. After that he'd get ready and walk down to the kitchen with James.

James would always wait till Tony was ready to go down. He didn't exactly know why he did that but he just felt more comfortable and warm around the genius.

The Man mostly spent his days beside the younger and sometimes Rhodes would join as well.

After Tony emerged from the bathroom he quickly changed into some presentable clothes and went over to James.

What surprised James was Tony hugged him again, even tighter than before. Before James knew it he had wrapped his own arms around the boy in a comforting and protective manner.

This particular hug lasted about 2 minutes until Tony finally loosened his grip on the Soldier.

Arriving in the kitchen they noticed Jarvis already preparing breakfast for the family. They both sat at the table next to each other.

"Goodmornin' J." Tony greated with a soft smile.

"Goodmorning." James repeated.

"Goodmorning to you two as well." Jarvis greeted back as he set the first stack of pancakes onto the table.

Tonys mouth watered at the sight of the special Jarvis pancakes. They were always so fluffy and tasty.

"Anyone seen Rhodey?" He asked when he couldn't find his best friend anywhere.
