Time Travel?..... You're kidding (Winteriron)

Chapter 8

After waking up because of a nightmare, Tony wiggled out of the bed not disturbing his two favourite people in the world.

Not knowing what he wanted to do he just sat in the livingroom with something to tinker with in hand.

While he was occupied with tinkering away he failed to notice the new presence in the room.

"We meet again. Stark." Loki said as he neared the couch which Tony was sitting on.

Tony starteled so hard he dropped his tech. He muttered some curse words under his breath before glaring at the Jotun.

"Say something before you come here, I nearly had a fucking heart attack." Tony tried to calm his rapidly beating heart.

"My apologies." The Jotun replied not looking very apologetic, but Tony would take what he could get.

"So why are you here? Anything happen in Asgard?" Tony asked.

"Nay. It hathent got to do with Asgard. My visit here is for the Teseract. We haven't decided on how to keep it safe and away from external forces, have we." Loki reminded.

"Oh yea. It should be in S.H.I.E.L.D's possession right now. So it wouldn't be too dificult to get it. How about you take it with you to hide it somewhere in the galaxy?" The genius suggested.

"Even though that is a good Idea, the energy of the infinity gems can be detected if oneself is already  in possesssion of one." The trickster explained.

"Well, I could design some nano technology cases that would bring the energy to circle back inside the case and not leak."

"That would be splendid, but we would have to test it beforehand so there are no possible errors." Loki agreed. "I'll be back in a month, after having done my not so princely duties. Farewell, Stark."

"See ya, reindeer games." Tony waved goodbye just as the Jotun disappeared in a golden whisp of light.

"Who were you talking to?" Tony heared a sudden voice ask.

"Oh, just Loks." He turned around to face the two Soldiers standing at the entrance to the livingroom.

"He visisted again? Why? Did something happen at his place?" Rhodes questioned.

"Nah, he came to remind us that we have to secure the infinity stones. So to speak, the teseract. Which we should probably figure out a plan for." Tony explained to him.

"Who is 'loks'?" James asked confused beyond belief.

"Oh that's Loki. He's from another realm, you know the god of lies and mischif? Yea, that's him. And no we are not kidding." Rhodes explained.

"Yea. So that's that. But like I said before, we have to figure out a plan to get the teseract. I know that I'll be able to locate it, but the extraction will be a bit more difficult." Tony explained.

"Well first off, follow me you little tweeps." Tony grinned, leading the way through a corridor in the mansion.

The three of them finally arrived at a deadend, which turned out to be a not so dead end, as the wall hummed to life like a machine would.

The complicated shifts the wall went through were fascinating for the two Soldiers to watch. After the entrance was uncovered the two, again, followed Tony. This time through a more spacious stairway, which lead to the underground.

Tony was grinning all the way through, proud of his work. He had prepared for a situation like this, where they would need a private HQ.

Further down the hallway there was a normal sliding door. It only opened after it had scanned the three of them, noting that they were friendly entities.
