Irene Treyette, Ji-Woon mentally repeated. He's never heard of it before; it sounded peaceful.

"So, now you know it," Irene added, "-and I am not letting you go. So don't ask."

Ji-Woon laughed at this. "So, what? You honestly think you can just leave me here, strapped to this ladder?"

"Mmmm. Yep! I think I can do that for the next 4 days."

Ji-Woon tilted his head, "Why 4 days?"

Irene rolled her eyes, "Think, dipshit."

A fire seemed to form in Ji-Woon's chest. He was getting frustrated with this girl's attitude towards him. He knew the human body would die within 4 days without hydration, but he didn't believe she was the type to do that kind of thing.

He took a deep breath. Fighting with this child was pointless. Or he believed she was one. The girl appeared to be fifteen. Anyway, if he wanted to get out of this, he had to manipulate her into trusting him.

"Irene, if I wanted to kill you, I would've instantly attacked you when you came inside."

That sounds fair, Irene considered. -but he'll have to try harder than that to convince me. "Yeah, I'm not convinced." She stood up from the wooden chair, "I know everything about you. Your background story was gruesome. -but I have to admit, you're fun to play against."

Ji-Woon appeared enthused by this. His eyes seemed to light up, and he smiled. Looking like the goofy idiot that Irene admired.

It was her turn to giggle. Ji-Woon made the weirdest expressions.

"What's so funny?" Ji-Woon's countenance changed to confusion.

"Nothing. You're just funny."

She thinks I'm funny, ay? Ji-Woon thought for a moment. He could use this to his advantage. Smirking again, "Why, thank you. I don't get that often."

"Oh, let me guess. People call you hot most of the time?"

Ji-Woon chuckled, "Yes. I do, Angel."

Angel? That's a first. Irene dropped the silly behavior. She knew what he was doing.

Of course, Ji-Woon thought if he gave her a pet name, Irene would become slightly vulnerable to him. He softened his gaze, "I understand you're concerned I'm going to harm you, but I have no intention to make music right now."

"Right now?" Irene repeated. She scoffed. "Oh, please."

Ji-Woon felt himself becoming angry again. This girl was so ignorant. So rude. She knew who he was, and she treated him like he was nothing. -but he suddenly remembered what she said earlier. In this world, he was nothing. He'd have to start all over again.

The thought of it only added to the fire. Ji-Woon tried to stand up again, but his hands wouldn't budge. He expected some sarcastic remark from Irene, but she merely watched him struggle.

He's right, though. I can't leave him like this. -but I can't risk him killing me. Maybe we could come to an agreement? Irene sighed, feeling defeated.

Feelings aren't facts. An old memory replayed in the girl's head.

"Ok, listen. You can't kill me because you have nowhere else to go."

Ji-Woon settled back down, "I am aware of that." -and he was. He couldn't kill her because she was the only one who knew he was real.

"If you promise not to do anything stupid, you can stay with me."

Ji-Woon nodded, acting as if he was serious about this. While inside, he was thinking about how naive this girl was. He couldn't be trusted for anything. Yet he was also silently cheering himself for his performance.

"Alright, before I rip the tape off your skin, you need to understand that you'll die. -if I end up shooting you, again. As a matter of fact, you should not do anything physical for at least 8 hours. I don't know what kind of side effects the drug has."

"I understand. Thank you for being concerned for me." Ji-Woon replied with a smirk.

Yeah, whatever. Irene removed the tape and chains and stepped about 6 feet back.

"Geuge hwolssin nas-seubnida." (That's much better.) Ji-Woon looked Irene up and down, "You still haven't taken care of your injuries?"

Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. The blood was dry and caked, but the pain faded earlier. -and if that wasn't enough, her stomach started to growl.

"Hungry?"

Irene shook her head, "Don't worry about me. You need to sit down," She pointed to the couch, "over there."

Surprisingly, Ji-Woon complied. It was probably because of the drug. -but Irene was serious about watching it. Animal darts could kill human beings.

She grabbed cold water from the fridge and handed it to him. "I'd give you a pain killer, but I don't have any."

"It's alright." Ji-Woon smiled, "Thank you, though." He took the water and gulped it down, surprisingly thirsty.

Irene went to the kitchen area, "I think you should eat some fruit. Possibly a banana. You might puke later."

Just as she made that statement, Ji-Woon heaved onto the floor. Twice.

"It's alright. I think."

Glaring, "You think?" He mocked.

Irene grabbed a bucket from the bathroom. "Here. -and take off your jacket."

You don't have to tell me twice. Ji-Woon shrugged off the neon coat and threw it on the back of the couch. The migraine subsided a little, but his stomach burned like fire.

"Maybe you shouldn't eat for a while." Irene placed her hand on his forehead, "You don't have a fever. That's good. How does your stomach feel?"

Ji-Woon groaned, "Like it's on fire."

"Alright. Just stay here and rest." She handed him a thin blanket, "Can you lie down?"

"Possibly." He adjusted himself, lying flat on his back.

Irene placed her MyPillow under his head. She chuckled, "I'm such a Mom."

"What do you mean by that?" He asked.

"Eh," she waved her hands to be dramatic, "I'm a caring person." -or that's what people say. "Helping people with specific things is something I'm automatic about. I just blame it on my childhood trauma."

Um, what? Ji-Woon didn't have a response to that. He had questions, instead.

"Alright, well, get some rest. I'll clean up this mess."

Ji-Woon didn't want to, but his body instantly demanded rest. He heard Irene curse about it being 3:47 in the morning before falling asleep again.

"Goodnight, Ji-Woon."
