A few days went by. Ji-Woon complained about no food in the house, so Irene told him to order whatever he wanted on Instacart. That was a mistake, but she made sure there was enough to last the two of them a week.

What day is it? Irene mentally questioned. Wednesday? Thursday? Does it even matter anymore?

"Are you alright?" Ji-Woon loomed over her tiny figure.

She suddenly realized she'd been continuously brushing the pan even though it wasn't greasy anymore. "I'm alright. I just got lost in thought."

He shut the water off, "Take a break. Alright?"

"I said I was fine."

Ji-Woon glared for a moment but switched to a smirk before making her sit on the counter. "Why don't you spend some time with me?"

"No." Her expression was blank.

He mimicked it for a moment. "-but I'm bored," he pouted.

"Then watch TV." She pushed him away and hopped off the counter. Which he did not take lightly.

"Did I say we were done here?" He snatched her wrist, digging his fingernails into her soft skin.

Sudden fear took over, and she bit him. Hard...

"Ow! WHY, YOU!" Ji-Woon shoved her against the wall, pinning her arms above her head. Leaning closer, "Don't you ever push me away! Got it?"

Irene whimpered. She screwed her eyes shut and nodded.

"Good girl." He released his grip, "Although, I don't mind getting a little rough." He smirked.

The girl knew he was talking about the bite. She shook her head no.

"Awww. It's ok." He caressed her cheek. "I can be patient."
