The girl could barely comprehend what she was seeing. Here?! NOW?! Well, I did assume he was on vacation earlier. -and apparently, I was right!
The idol was wearing more casual attire. (Black faded jeans, a blue hoodie, and red sunglasses.) The perfect fit to blend in. No one would expect a Korean idol to shop in a lower-classed mall in California, anyway.
Elle didn't know why but for some reason, seeing him now caused a light fuzzy feeling to stir. While he remained by the entrance, she quickly tapped her glasses, snapping a photo. After fidgeting with the glasses' drive, she uploaded the picture to her phone.
"I have a table for you over here." The waitress pointed to a booth.
Ji-Woon simply nodded in approval before sitting down. Elle didn't want to stare, so she resumed devouring her meal.
Once she completed her lunch, his tray arrived. Sushi, ay? Elle chuckled. What did I expect? Him to order the same meal as me?
She paid and left. Part of her wondered what the man would say, knowing they were in the same restaurant. He'd assume I was stalking him. -but I did take the photo before he sat down.
Was it worth it? No. Factly, she could get herself in trouble. -but why do I feel like this now? She referred to the bubbly sensation inside her chest. Maybe she was developing feelings for him? No. I can't fall for him. He's a serial killer... -and that's what drew me in...
Needle-like pains struck the girl's head. He's leaving now. It took a moment for her to realize there were two bodyguards present. They dressed casually and kept their distance. Pretending to not know him.
Stop Elle! She shook her head. You came here for yourself! Not him! Focus on yourself today!
The task felt impossible. Ji-Woon was in the same shopping center. They've already talked once, and now she wants to again.
After a few minutes of losing the idol, Elle pulled out her phone and sent the picture. "What a crazy coincidence!" 😄
A moment later, "Are you stalking me~?" 😏
She frowned, "I was there before you. If anything, I'm starting to think you're stalking me."
There was a moment of silence. "Where are you now? If you're not stalking me."
"I originally planned to visit American Eagle. Maybe get an oversized t-shirt or something."
"Eh, not a fan."
"I presumed you preferred fashion over quantity."
"I do."
She chuckled, "I could say the same. (As long as I can afford it.) Sometimes I like to get something that makes me feel special."
"Who said you weren't~?" 😉
He- What?! Elle wasn't sure what game he was playing. Whatever it was, she decided to make a dangerous move. Texting, "Meet me at Baskin Robbins."
