The waves sang a silent gentle melody as if it were swaying with the wind. The sight captivated the female as she leaned on the balcony of the ship to watch the waves slowly rise and fall. The sun bringing down sparkles to the sea, all the chatter and clanking of wine bottles seemed to have deafened before it reached the [h/c]-haired girl's ears. Her sword was hung by the side of her hip, her attire quite foreign to the ones that the other people wore on board. At first sight, people would assume that she was dangerous or an outcast. But she was only a great fighter and a caring person. A sigh parted her lips as she held up her left cheek with her hand, her elbow standing on the wooden balcony while the other rested there unmoving.
"The scenery is something to cherish, isn't it? My lady," A light melodious voice spoke from behind her, dragging her out her trance. Though his sudden appearance didn't frighten her, it just brought more peace to her, as if it were a sense of security, perhaps? She could not understand it, but his presence brought a warmth like no other.
"Ah, yes. It brings peace to the mind," [Y/N] spoke gently, a small smile tracing her lips.
A light chuckle escaped the male as he placed his arms crisscrossed on the balcony beside her, his chuckle greater than what the winds and oceans sang together. [Y/N] felt a few butterflies awaken in her stomach, fluttering around in her rib cage.
"I now have gained the inspiration for a new haiku just by simply admiring the view for a few moments," He spoke, his voice smoother than velvet silk.
His volcanic scarlet orbs met hers, a smile complimenting his features. The wind ruffled his hair slightly, the sun looking down on him, making his porcelain-like skin glow. It was a view to behold. At this point, the female felt a tint of red paint her cheeks. She quickly averted her gaze back to the glimmering sea, regaining her calm posture.
"Sailing out at the oceans has that effect. It must have given you tons of inspiration for your haikus, like now." [Y/N] said, only to feel his long slender fingers slide under her chin, causing her to take a look into his entrancing eyes, explosions erupting inside of her, the touch of his skin against hers felt surreal as he stroked her flushed cheek with his thumb.
His crimson orbs had love and sincerity filled to the brim, only for her.
"Though," He paused, the smallest smile tugging at the corners of his lips, "I wasn't talking about the sea, my lady."
