Ashley and Tim are outside Wilshire station and Lucy catches site of them as she is leaving from her shift..
Lucy watches through the door has Tim drops to one knee and "proposes" to Ashley who "accepts."
She is so lost in the pain of watching the tender moment she isn't even aware Chris has approached, and startled slightly when he speaks.
Chris: hey..
Lucy: Oh! Hi..
Chris: So listen, it's a good thing you didn't come with me to meet my mom because she drove me absolutely crazy!
Lucy does her best to put on a brave smile but Chris who is used to sensing when witnesses aren't telling the whole story knows something is off...
Chris: What's wrong?!
Lucy: Nothing..I..
Lucy's response is cut short by the ding of a text message she looks down and Chris watches on and her body language changes to a combination of relief and fury.
Lucy: Could you just wait here?! I need to go find Lopez and figure out how to put a curse on someone.
Chris: (chuckles disbelievingly) Yeah, right?!
(Lucy turns suddenly briskly walking back in to the station.)
Chris: Ohhh? Your serious??!
Chris watches as Lucy heads back in unsure if he should wait or go.
