Okay, I just read the prev chapter and noticed some mistakes about Don's part😭 I'm so sorry if some of ya'll get confused, I usually don't read the final output after publishing, and ngayon ko lang na notice sorry!
After our conversation, we went back inside to continue the celebration. We decided to keep it a secret, like kami lang talaga dalawa ang nakakaalam.
We separated our ways, he was enjoying over there while I was enjoying here at the back with Atty. Carmela and other staff.
"Have you seen Simon ba Ms. Colins?" tanong ni Atty. Carmela sakin, I looked around hoping to see Simon but he was nowhere to be found.
"Hindi ko po siya nakita Atty., do you need something po?"
"Ah wala naman, may sasabihin lang sana ako sa kaniya kaso di ka siya mahanap e," sabi pa nito.
"Anyway, I'll let you enjoy, lalabas muna ako ha?" sabi ni Atty., tsaka ito nagpaalam na lumabas muna.
Since wala naman akong kausap dito, umupo muna ako sa tabi. We monitored the votings and cheered everytime when mangunguna si BBM pati na rin si Mayor Inday. Everyone here is celebrating and having fun.
Tinitingnan ko lang sila when Simon caught my eye, he went to the side at kumuha ng isang can na beer. Agad naman akong lumapit sa kaniya.
"Hey Si," I greeted, he didn't look at me instead he smiled, like very short lang.
"Hinanap ka ni Atty. Carmela kanina, may sasabihin-"
"Yes we talked," he then said, wow he didn't even let me finish.
"Are you okay? something's going on," I said and tried to look in his eyes, but he avoided looking at me. He opened his can of beer and gulped all of it nonstop.
"Woah, slow down, okay ka lang ba?" I asked and tapped his back he finally looked at me.
"Yes I am fine," he said simply.
"What's with you? are you trying to avoid me?"
"Well you did that to me earlier, now how does it feel?" he said at nag walk-out sakin. Sinundan ko naman siya at umupo sa tabi niya.
"I ignored you?"
"I called your name a million times, but your eyes were fixed in front of you. Turns out your looking at my brother pala," He said.
"Oh, I'm sorry Si, okay andito na ako what do you want ba?"
"Nothing, I don't want anything from you." Wow ang cold naman into magsalita.
"Ikaw ha, kung makapagsalita pareho na kayo ng kuya Sandro mo, serious niyo masyado," I said jokingly yet he didn't respond.
"Sorry na nga Joseph e, sige na please? sorry na po," kailangan pa ata to suyuin e, okay lang kasalanan ko naman e, di ko kasi siya napansin agad. Ito kasing si Sandro, my attention was at him lang talaga that I didn't even notied na Simon was already calling me pala.
Ito, kinukulit ko pa rin si Joseph Simon, but after a few minutes of begging nagiging okay naman siya.
"Darn you, okay fine bati na tayo," he said giving up and letting out a chuckle.
"You can't resist me talaga ha? mabuti yan Joseph,"
"You went outside with kuya, what were you talking about ba?" No one could know as of now, I'm sorry Simon.
"May sinabi lang siya sakin," he said he'll court me Simon... I didn't answer.
"Ano work pa din?" Nope, personal this time...
