Regulus settles into bed with Danica, pleased at how she took to him getting the tattoo. She rolls onto his chest and he can feel her bump on his hip. He lays a hand softly on it and closes his eyes, picturing mini versions of the two of them: a tiny child with blonde hair sits in Danica's arms as she reads a bedtime story; another with black curls giggles on the floor looking up at them. Regulus smiles and kisses the top of Danica's head.
"Goodnight my love," he whispers but she is already asleep.

Regulus has his arm around Danica as they run through the wedding arrangements which are spread over the kitchen table. She has been very organised with the plans and everything is written down and neatly sorted. There is not much to go through except for the food, the music, and the guest list (not very long, just remembering who was there at Christmas and that is all). Danica looks at him and leans into his shoulder as she speaks about it all. Regulus falls into a dream from watching her eyes move across the page and reading her lips as she speaks. Suddenly she turns her head sharply to look at him properly.
"Reg, are you even listening to me?" She asks irritably.
He snaps out of his daze and nods quickly.
"Okay," Danica says, unimpressed. "What was I just talking about?"
He thinks for a moment then tries to look at the paper in her hand but she flips it over so he can't read it.
"I- erm- uh..." he bites his cheek guiltily and gives her sorry puppy eyes.
She sighs and turns away from him.
"Sorry, my love," Regulus says and feels awful. "I just got lost..."
Danica rolls her eyes and huffs as she stands up from her chair and walks over to the kitchen counter.
"Is our wedding day not important to you?" She asks quietly as she fills the kettle with water.
"Of course it is!" Regulus gets up too and walks over to her.
She turns away again and grabs tea bags, throwing them into the mugs.
"Then why weren't you listening?" She bites back.
Regulus hangs his head and stuffs his hands in his pockets.
"Because... of you..." he looks up at her, hoping that was enough.
"We've been together for almost three years," she still does not look at him. "How hasn't it worn off yet?"
Regulus creases his eyebrows.
"What do you mean by that?" He asks and attempts to walk over to her but the kettle is ready so she moves away from him again.
"I mean how can you still be 'getting lost'," she sets the kettle down to air quote it, "from looking at me?"
Regulus sighs and walks over to her, grabbing her waist before she can walk off and spinning her around to face him.
"Because every time I see you, listen to you, touch you, I fall in love with you all over again," he says, looking her dead in the eyes.
Danica bites her lip and looks up at him. She has a slightly confused expression as if she is trying to be mad at him but is finding it difficult. Eventually, she sighs and steps forwards, allowing his arms to envelope her. He pulls her close to his chest and feels her stomach rub between them. Danica sighs again and looks up at him.
"You make it so difficult to be mad at you," she says. "But please can you listen?"
"Okay," Regulus cups her face. "I'll listen, I promise."
