3rd Person POV
they had ran far enough away that they couldn't be caught or seen. kiara and amelia held each other as they ducked away from the cops and others. pope and jj stood next to each other holding tightly onto each other. a plane flew above them and they sighed
"and there's goes the gold" JJ exclaimed and they watched as pope broke down. he swore and beat things
"pope stop, stop , just stop" amelia said and she brought him to sit down
"yeah dude i was wondering when this was gonna happen. here you go chief. a little weed never hurt anyone" JJ stated as he held out his juul
"JJ no" Amelia and Kiara said
"relax girls" He told them
"you know he doesn't smoke" kiara said and amelia watched as pope took the juul and inhaled
"maybe not until today" JJ said and he sat down
" I lost my scholarship. Walked out in the middle of the interview. Every it's gone. It's not gonna happen" Pope said and amelia leaned her head on his shoulder
" You did that for us?" kiara asked him
" No, not for us. For nothing" he said as he stood up and amelia grabbed kiaras hand
" I'm here for you pope. Welcome to my world, OK?" JJ said
"jj come on" amelia tried
" What Amelia? He's right. It doesn't matter anymore" JJ said and they watched as pope inhaled again
" You don't have to do that" kiara said
"what do you care?" pope asked kiara and they turned to see john b
"john b, you're safe . who's blood is this?" she asked
"john b are you okay?" kiara questioned and the cops drove by. amelia made eye contact with john b
"we have to go the police station" John b said and amelia nodded
"i'll drive but are we sure this is the best idea?" amelia said as they walked to the car and drove to the police station
"somebody's gotta tell them what happened" he said and they watched pope cough
