3rd person pov
they went back to the chateau the next morning, big john hugged amelia and she hugged him back as they all smiled at the sight of him. jj jumped on his back as he hugged him and amelia smiled. she leaned against sarah as they watched the pair of them
"yeah so we , we went to the archives in charleston and it was. it was a dead end, a dry hole" john b said but via noticed the way big john looked at him and the way he looked at big john. they were hiding something and amelia could tell
"so that's the gold, the cross, and now el dorado. we're three-for-three, guys. the streak continues, that's great" pope said . pope walked off with cleo following close behind him
"see ya john b" kiara said and she stared at her girlfriend who stood up and then turned to sarah
"hey call me when you need me" she told her and she kissed the girls forehead before she left her and sarah watched. she liked that kiara wanted to be around the girl and take care of her in anyway she could.
"so do you think he was telling us the truth?" she asked and amelia thought for a second
"I want to say yes but the story makes no sense right. like why waste so much time in charleston if there was nothing there? why go so far for something they didn't find?" amelia thought and kiara sighed
"I feel like you're right. and I want him to trust us but I don't know if that's going to work" kiara said and amelia nodded
"hey do you think that I might be able to stay over? its just I don't want to go home and I have nowhere to stay" she told her as they got the house and mike opened the door, he looked at amelia and sighed
"amelia I'm sorry, but come back tomorrow alright. today isn't the best time" he stated and she nodded in understanding. she turned to see sarah walking towards her and she sighed
"we need to find a better place to stay" amelia called
"you check jjs, ill check popes" sarah stated and they both nodded. amelia went to jjs only to find it trashed and she sighed. she soon met up with sarah and they walked to the tiki bar. they soon heard someone calling their names and they looked up to see topper with Maya. maya was a girlfriend that amelia used to date
"hey top" sarah called as she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and amelia did the same thing. they soon got on the boat
"hi lia" maya said and amelia made eye contact with sarah. she could already tell that just being there was a bad idea.
"okay well you two look a little thirsty. there's beers right there, you can grab a drink" topper said and sarah grabbed one for her and one for amelia
"thanks" amelia said and she opened it as she drank it and maya stared.
"never thought we'd be beer cooler vagrant. that's embarrassing" sarah said and amelia laughed
"yeah, I thought you two more into like high end heists now. like robbing trains, ya know which no judgement" topper said
"I wouldn't blame you if you did" sarah said and amelia scoffed
"I would, trying to get back my best friends inheritance. i don't regret shit" amelia called and maya laughed
"always trying to help everyone else but yourself huh?" she asked and amelia shrugged
"no, its just what I do. sarah, pope, jj, john b and hey even my girlfriend miss kiara carrera" she said and maya looked at the ground
"you and kiara. you're still together?" she asked and amelia smiled
"yeah, shes the one ya know. like I think I love her more then I've ever loved anyone before" she said and maya scoffed
"even me?" she asked and amelia didn't think for a second
"even you" she told her and sarah choked on the beer as topper seethed and amelia watched maya scoff and get up. she walked to the other end of the boat and amelia smirked
"well now I feel good" she said and topper laughed
"you're still the same person I've always known amelia cameron" he said and she shrugged
"I will never change myself for a man or anyone. amelia cameron is one person and one person only" she exclaimed and then they heard the sound of another boat. they turned to see kelce with a few other people.
"hey yo, top whats up?" kelce called out
"hey man" topper called
"holy shit, is that amelia and sarah cameron? bro please tell me they're coming" kelce said and amelia made eye contact with her sister
"where?" sarah asked
'so we're all heading out to mase, we're going do a little surf and sun action. ya know a little fellowship right. come on, you should come. it'll be fun, it'll be good for you two" topper said
"fine" amelia and sarah agreed. soon enough they got to mase. amelia drank only a little bit and soon she sat down next to the ocean and maya sat down next to her as they watched the water together
"ya know I miss you" maya said
"I miss you too , just not like that" amelia told the girl who looked down at the ground. she then looked up and leaned in to kiss amelia but amelia shot up and shook her head
"I have a girlfriend" amelia said and may scoffed
"so? she wont know" maya said and amelia stared wide eyed at the girl
"fuck you maya, I'm not doing that to kiara. not now , not ever" she stated and she got up as she walked away from the girl. she didn't even see what her sister was doing but she didn't care because she knew one thing. she wouldn't do that to kiara if the sun was shining from her ass and the moon was her head.
