3rd person pov
they stayed on the boat and rode it home.
"so this is what we're doing huh? we're just sailing out. we're just gonna forget about john b? we should've never left him alright? we're turning right back around " jj said and cleo spoke up
"no, we're all gonna get caught, what type of plan is that?" cleo retorted
"its a plan to stick together cleo" jj said
"then we're dead together" she said
"jj think, if we didn't leave in time, we might all be dead right now and that cant happen, we cant let that happen. we cant all die together" she stated and kiara nodded
"lias right, we did the right thing" kiara agreed.soon enough a phone rang and kiara picked it up
"whos that?" jj asked
"its portis" kiara exclaimed
"portis? that's john b. that's definitely john b" jj stated and he took the phone as he picked it up and began to talk to john b.
"I said don't worry about me. look its way too hot here, you gotta get out of here, go back to obx " he told them
"we do not copy" jj said
"jj come on, let sarah talk to him" amelia spoke up and he handed her the phone
"john b, are you okay?" sarah asked
"yes yes I'm fine, everythings fine alright now listen" he exclaimed
"okay he's fine, jb what the hell happened?" she asked
"I found my dad, he's alive" john b said and amelia made eye contact with kiara in fear.
"get out of here, ill meet you on kildare" he told them
"kildare, when?" sarah asked and then the call ended.
"you guys think he found his father?" cleo asked
"so what do we do? right now we're sitting ducks, we need to figure out if we're going to go home or head back. sarah come on" jj pushed and pushed
"give her a fucking second jj" amelia stated
"look john b said to go home, so go home" sarah exclaimed
"wait sarah" jj tried
"go" she said and she walked off as amelia stared at her sister.
"you shouldn't have pushed" she said and she walked off to her sister as she sat down with her and sarah leaned her head on amelias shoulder
"do you think we're doing the right thing?" sarah asked her and amelia sighed
"I think so and if we arent, we'll be alright" she told her and sarah laughed
"nothing will change?" sarah asked and amelia thought
"nothing will change from here on out" she told her
"too much has changed already" sarah whispered
"you can say that again" amelia retorted and they both laughed. she could hear jj and pope talking to each other and she smiled
"do you remember that bet we put on jj and pope?" she asked and sarah laughed as cleo and kiara walked over
"of course I do" she told her
"what are we talking about?" cleo asked
"jj and pope" amelia told them
"dude they're so in love with each other, its insane" cleo said and they all laughed. they turned to see jj and pope, jj held popes hand as they stared at each other
"holy shit, are they going to?" and right as amelia said it they leaned in and kissed each other
"FUCKING FINALLY" amelia yelled and the others cheered making jj and pope pull away and laugh. soon they docked on land at st.kitts.
"we'll stay here" sarah said for herself, kiara and amelia.
"ill go with those two idiots and make sure they don't do something stupid" cleo said and they all laughed as cleo got off of the boat with the couple.
"I lied , things changed" amelia said and sarah laughed with kiara
"ya know sometimes I miss when it was just us three" kiara told the pair of sisters and they both smiled
"I do too" amelia told her girlfriend
"so you and cleo?" kiara said to sarah who blushed
"Im with john b" sarah tried to say
"polyamory is a thing" amelia suggested and kiara snapped her fingers in agreement. they both laughed together
"do you think john b would be okay with that?" sarah asked and amelia looked at kiara as they both thought it through
"definitely something to talk to him about and figure it out" amelia stated and sarah nodded. they all smiled at each other when jj got back on the boat with pope and cleo
"HOME WE GO" amelia yelled and they started the boat as they began to ride back to kildare. amelia held kiaras hand as they watched the water flow under them on their way and they had one thing on their minds.
they couldn't let anything change between them but it would and they knew that. they knew that things changed and sure amelia made a promise but promises are hard to keep when life changes and things change and people change.
people change everyday in everyway and sure amelia wanted to keep herself from seeing that and dealing with that and knowing that but that's hard when all you can think about or hear is the way things change.
the way the world changes. the way people change, the way nature and the sun and the moon and the planets change. everything changes in one way or another and sometimes you had to accept it even if that's the hardest thing in the world and all amelia could think was the fact that
nothing will change
