Shouyou's POV

"Ugh..."

Elise was locked in their car, growling and bouncing around and trying to get out. The two people who were in there were out, now.

Their eyes were staring so deeply into me as I struggled beneath Kuroo's knee, which was dug into my back.

Both of us were bloodied up, but he caught me off guard when I glanced over at Elise after hearing her yelp and got enough hits in to knock me to the ground, where I'm currently pinned.

I'm so glad I still had my helmet on, but it made things harder to see, and it couldn't stop the rattling in my head and the pain in my body.

"Haha, I can see why Bokuto had trouble with you. You're a slippery one."

My head was hanging down the boat ramp. If I could just somehow knock him off of me and down the ramp, he'd fall into the water, but the others would surely hound me after.

I'd have to let Elise out of the car, but how many more hits could I take? My head's already aching from being slammed against the concrete. My ears are ringing.

The cuffs on my belt were taken off and my wrist was tightened inside one. I was still trying to regain my vision, but I managed to pull my other wrist weakly from his grasp before he could cuff it, too.

He didn't think much of it, since I was obviously overpowered, and let it be.

"Now, let's turn you over and~"

He pulled me up. A groan of pain forced itself passed my lips. He kicked me really hard in the gut earlier. It hurts to even flex my muscles.

"- Let's see that pretty face of yours."

My helmet was slipped off, and my head dropped despite me trying to stay strong. The smirk on his face widened.

Long, strong fingers traced down my face, and, when he pulled them back, I saw a red liquid drip from them.

"Kenma, let's take him back to the base with us."

Fuck, it's now or never. I'm not sure how much strength I can muster up, but surely it'll be enough to get him off of me.

I reached out and bundled the front of his shirt in my trembling fist. The metal of the cuffs jangled.

"You still got some fight left in you? That's cute. I like that~"

He didn't see me as a threat any longer, and that's the worst mistake he could make.

I readjusted my fingers, and, in a sharp motion, I pulled him with all my might and used my legs to toss him into the water at the bottom of the boat ramp.

The one I'd have to worry about at the moment was the mohawk guy. He's strong. I don't know about Kenma or that lengthy guy yet.

I only stood when muscle brains ran over and attempted to grab me. It was a bit easier to knock him over my shoulder, but he's definitely heavier than Kuroo.

Footsteps sounded behind mine as I raced to the car and opened the door. Elise was on top of the guy following me in an instant. He seemed rather lean and tall, but she could handle him.

Sirens blared from the road heading here.

Back up actually came? Thank God.

My relief ended far too fast when something struck my head and sent me to the ground. My vision burred. My hands went numb, too much so to feel the rocks digging into my palms as I tried my damned hardest not to let my body fall.
