Third-Person POV; 6:18 a.m
=====
Shouyou had to meet up with the others as soon as possible, and he knew staying at the ballroom alone would leave him vulnerable. He's on his motorcycle heading toward the meeting place- A creaky old bridge over the boating dock and ocean below.
When he gets there, it's simply a matter of cuffing these guys and getting them in cells. It's proving to be a tedious task because some of Sakusa's men had left when Shouyou hopped on his motorcycle and there are- as far as he can tell- at least three cars behind him.
As he neared a sharp turn, he tried desperately to come up with a way he could get them off his tail until a gunshot nearly drove him off the road. Luckily, he managed to swerve away from it.
If they were bringing guns into this battle, then he would, too.
He cocked the gun carefully while trying to maintain his speed and balance, turned the barrel facing at the car behind him, and, with one quick, sharp glance back, he aimed the gun directly at the closest car's left tire.
The moment he heard the rubber explode and the screeching of the brake pedals, he aimed once more and shot at the next car, but they had veered away after predicting his moves.
They just can't make it there. There are already too many of Sakusa's men, and they're definitely giving the police force a hard time at the moment.
Shouyou has to remember that his men are strong and reliable and, most certainly, capable of holding their own ground.
Shouyou would do his damn best to stop these guys before they could make it to the bridge and overpower his men.
He slowed to a stop right in the middle of the road, leaving no way around for these fools. If they wanted him, they'd have to get through him, first.
When the cars stop, he aims his guns straight at them and holds them steady even as the doors begin swinging open.
His focus was drawn to Ushijima and Osamu, who both had a gun in their hand and were fearlessly walking toward Shouyou, not straying from the ginger's line of fire.
"Stay in the car! I won't let you pass me!"
"No, ya got it wrong, Mr. Policeman," Sweetly cooed Osamu as he gripped the barrel of Shouyou's gun and smirked mockingly, "We won't let you go any further."
Just like that, the air was knocked out of Shouyou's body as someone slammed into him from behind and right into the strong arms of a familiar soft-hearted male he had met earlier that night. His guns fall to the ground.
"Sorry, Shouyou," Goshiki softly spoke to the struggling ginger, who was beginning to feel oddly nauseous all-of-a-sudden, "Just stop fighting it and you'll be alright. You're a good person, and we can keep you safe from this shitty city..!"
"Goshi... ki..! Lemme... Urgh! Lemme go!"
Tendou stood in front of Shouyou with a mocking expression familiar to Osamu's.
"Ushiwaka~ Let's go back up our teammates, yeah~?"
They were planning on leaving, but Shouyou couldn't- he wouldn't let them get away.
Sharply, he kicked back and successfully hit Goshiki's knee. Tendou surged forward to catch him, but Shouyou ducked down and grasped his gun.
When he stood back up, his vision blurred and Ushijima took the chance to tighten his arms around Shouyou's and yank him into his chest. His grasp was so tight it hurt Shouyou's arms and hands, and he ended up dropping the gun once again.
His time in Ushijima's arms gave him a moment to gather his bearings, and, briefly, he wondered what was wrong with him, but he couldn't dwell on it long, not with three cars, maybe fifteen people inside them, standing by ready to attack him.
Tendou's laugh taunts him.
Shouyou feels sick to his stomach as he sees everyone standing around him, just waiting for him to try and put up another fight. Shouyou hears his heartbeat in his ears as fear settles in.
For once... He doesn't believe in himself. He can't fight them all, he'd be lucky if he could run away.
"Stop struggling, Shouyou, please..." Goshiki begged once more. Shouyou sent him a glare.
Headlights shining on a road close to this one flash in the corner of Shouyou's eyes, and he realizes, heart-sinking, that Sakusa's taken another way to get to the others, and, with him there, and Atsumu too, surely, the policemen stood no chance.
With a sudden surge of energy, Shouyou broke free of Ushijima's grip and raced away from them, ducking and dodging their hands. He races to his motorcycle and slams the gas down. They scramble to get in the cars and follow.
Goshiki worriedly collects Shouyou's guns off the ground. It was odd to see the determination leave Shouyou's bright eyes for that split second.
Shouyou gets on his earpiece and tries to tell Daichi that Sakusa and Atsumu are on their way there, but it doesn't connect. He can only pray everyone's okay.
-----
It took nearly five minutes to get to the bridge, and Shouyou was feeling oddly winded from the quick trip, but he certainly wouldn't let it get to him.
Suzuki and Yuichi have made it to the boating dock, as well as Fukurodani, Karasuno, and Aoba Johsai. They seem to be having fun putting their fists into the faces of their ex-comrades. Shouyou was beyond relieved to see they were having small spatters rather than gunfights.
Atsumu and Sakusa have just arrived, though, and they're a different story.
Almost immediately, Shouyou sees Sakusa step out and aim a gun right at an unsuspecting Suzuki from afar, and Shouyou wills his body forward. He tosses himself onto Sakusa's back and knocks the gun from his hand in the process.
Shouyou's thrown harshly onto the concrete, he feels his head hit and his teeth chatter. Another wave of nausea overwhelms him and tempts him to continue lying there. He complies, even as a hand tries to pull him up.
He can't focus his eyes well, and a blurry Atsumu is laughing from above.
Sakusa sighs. They're talking, but Shouyou can only hear a high-pitched ring in his ears. Sakusa's grip on his hand is weak, he could break away and cuff these hooligans, but...
What's wrong with him?
"God, I would have been more careful if I knew it was you who touched me, Shouyou."
"Man, Kita really dosed him up, huh?"
Shouyou sees Sakusa reach down for his gun, he feels sweat drip from his face as he stares at the gun and weakly kicks it away. Sakusa scowls at him. Shouyou weakly glares back.
"Hah, free gun!"
Nishinoya races past them and snatches it, Atsumu chases him. Shouyou glances at them and sees Akaashi leading Nishinoya toward an abandoned boat so they can hide and get the jump on Atsumu. Bokuto, Oikawa, and Kuroo are up against Osamu, Ushijima, and Tendou.
Shouyou's lying on the cold concrete and can somehow feel every grove within the rocky surface. His body feels as if it's burning from the inside out.
As he's observing everyone, Sakusa has yet to leave his side, watching intently as Shouyou's eyes flicker and his breathing grows heavier and heavier. It's only a matter of time before he passes out.
