You were paired up with the popular guy in school, Dylan O'Brien. Everyone loved him but from what you heard, he wasn't the smartest. But you're not one to listen to rumors so you just had to see for yourself. You weren't too worried because he seemed really nice.
After school you looked everywhere for Dylan, to ask him when you were gonna start the project and where. When you finally found him, you tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. He was walking alone so you wouldn't have to worry about his asshole friends. He turned around and looked surprised to see you. You weren't shy, but had never talked to Dylan so you were a bit nervous. It didn't help that he was absolutely gorgeous, with his honey eyes, fancy hair and cute little dimples and moles.
"Uhm, hi. I wanted to ask when we could start on the project, for Biology?" Dylan blinked and opened his mouth to say something, but closed it again and nodded. His eyes darted around, not making eye-contact. Was he nervous? "W-we can start today if you'd like, I was just about to go home so you can come with me," he finally said after a few seconds, struggling through the sentence.
You nodded. "Only if you feel comfortable with that of course, otherwise we can work in the library." He added. You could hear the obvious nerves in his voice, but couldn't find a reason why. Dylan always talked to everyone, never stuttering, never shy.
"Yeah, that's fine. I'll meet you outside then, I just need to get my books from my locker." He quickly smiled at you and turned around, walking to the door. You were a bit stunned but hurried to your locked to get your books.
When you were done you walked outside to see Dylan casually leaning on his shining, black car. He was looking at his hands but looked up when he heard your footsteps. The parking lot was almost empty now and you were glad. You didn't like attention and being with Dylan meant getting stares and attention.
You smiled at him and he returned it opening the car door for you. So he was a gentleman, you thought, blushing a bit, hoping he didn't see it. When you were safely seated he closed the door and ran to the other side, taking place himself before driving out the school parking lot, to his house.

When you arrived he quickly ushered you upstairs and slammed the door behind you shut. You didn't know why Dylan was acting so weird and spastic but you didn't question it. He probably had a good reason.
"I didn't know someone was coming over today so my room isn't really organized or neat, I'm sorry." He seemed really ashamed, making you question why. "No, it's okay. You should see my room." When you realized what you had said you quickly looked away, but not before you could see Dylan's ears turn red.
You quickly looked through your bag and took out your notebook. "I took notes so maybe we can read them through so we know exactly what to do for this assignment, is that okay with you?" Dylan nodded but you noticed him fidgeting with his hands, you really wanted to ask what was wrong but you weren't in the position for that. It wasn't like you were friends or anything.
You took place on his bed and opened you notebook. Dylan hesitantly sat down on his bed, a lot of space between you two, and you bet he couldn't read a single thing from that distance. "You can come closer you know, otherwise you can't read the notes." He nodded and gulped before slowly moving forward.
It took him to long for your liking so you gently grabbed him by the arm and pulled him towards you. Dylan stumbled a bit but managed to keep his balance, but he was really close to you now. You could see the golden specks in his eyes and a few faint freckles mixed with his moles.
Dylan looked at you with an open mouth and a shocked expression on his face, he hadn't expected this, at least he could read the notes now. You smiled and let go of his arm. Dylan felt slightly disappointed when you did because your touch felt really nice, but quickly looked at your notebook.
