After they finalize all their plans, the rulers came back to their homes to do the final preparations for their adventure and to say goodbye to their family and people.
Heaven heard the whisper of footsteps behind her and felt the aura of Azure. She turned around to see her with a sad smile painted on her lovely face.
"Don't be sad. I'll miss you a lot too, you know?" Heaven said before pulling her into a hug.
Another presence entered the perimeter and the two separated and turned to their new company. A young fae entered and stood right next to Azure, arm going around to her waist to give her a side hug.
"Amvam." The young fae said to Azure before her gaze turned to Heaven.
Heaven beckoned the girl towards her and gave her a warm hug as well.
"Be good to your amvam, alright?" she asked the young girl who nodded in response.
"I promise. Please stay safe on your trip and have fun." Alazne said, hugging her one last time.
She returned to Azure's side who comforted her.
"Let me know when you're ready. I'll come with you to the portal." Azure said before they turned around to give her time to finish what she was doing.
Heaven quickly finish fixing her things and arranged the instructions that she'd be leaving to Azure properly before heading out to fetch her.
"You ready?" Azure said, opening her door to Heaven who just reached the chamber's door.
"It'd be really hard to surprise or scare you, you know that?" Heaven said looking at her with a slight pout. She hasn't even knocked when the young fae opened the door.
"I felt your soul when you turned the corner going here." She explained.
The two made their way outside and flew towards the location of the portal, talking about their plans. They decided not to teleport as they wanted to use this time before they get separated at the boundary.
"Get some fun time there alright?" Azure said with a wink, intending for her to get the other fun type as well while on her vacation.
Heaven laughed loudly before giving her one final hug and turned to face the glowing door connected to Earth.
She took a deep breath in and went inside. She looked around and realize she was at the Guardians Castle.
"Your majesty!" Lady Arielle greeted.
"Lady Arielle," she said in a formal voice.
"Some of the leaders are already in the house we provided for your stay. Come on, we'll drop you off."
They walked towards a black car making Heaven frown.
"That's a car?" she asked in surprise.
"I know, right? A lot of things have improved in terms of the technology department here. It's been a while since you've seen one and rode huh?" Lady Arielle smiled at her. Heaven smiled, feeling nostalgic.
The two of them went inside while Lord Michael drove them to the house. They were right on a cliff near the ocean and she smiled, knowing that the merfolks are probably happy to see this scenery.
"I hope you enjoy it here, I already left a letter inside to be addressed once everyone arrives." Lord Michael said once they arrived. Heaven nodded and stepped down from the vehicle.
Starting her way to the house, she examined it as she walked. Standing in front of a mini castle, her perfect eyebrows rose in surprise. The house looks neat outside. She can hear the ocean behind the house as well.
Acacia, Seraphina, Hasmal, and their twins were already inside when she entered. Looking around the house, it was already fully furnished. The living room is very wide with couches arranged professionally.
A glass table sat in the middle and what seems like a television is installed on the wall in front of it. There were some notes taped to it that she did not bother trying to read from her place. She will have time for that next time.
Heaven went over Hasmal to take the baby he's been carrying.
"Etlh zheré amy dear Phyra." She greeted the faely and gave her a sweet kiss on her cheeks. The faely giggled and hid her face on her neck as she got nuzzled by the High Queen.
"The others have not arrived?" Heaven asks them, looking around to see if they are somewhere.
"Aqualia and Valdimir are already on their way. They got delayed as they waited for Oceanus and Thethys to arrive. Breeze and Tornado are already upstairs in their room. It seems that Breeze is a bit tired and decided to rest up for a bit while we wait for the others." Acacia answered, holding Phyra's twin as well.
"Etlh zheré, Flame dearest." Heaven greeted, coming closer to him and kissing him on the cheek as well.
"Nadia is probably quadruple checking everything to make sure that her realm will be left perfectly and will still run even without her for a while. And our dear Victoria decided to take up one more assignment before coming over. She should be done soon." Acacia informed her.
The four of them along with the two faelies, toured around the house before going back to the living room to wait for the others.
They've been given fully furnished rooms as well, their closets had been filled with the clothes that people on Earth use and all necessities that they'll need. The kitchen is fully stocked and Seraphina had already claimed it as her spot.
There was a huge pool located at the back and an entryway towards the beach. It looks homey. They all agreed that they liked the setup of the place, it is very homey and it's obvious that the former guardian leaders went out of their way to make it as comfortable for them as possible.
The current leaders became complete around evening as they lounge around the living room. They have managed to learn how to use the television connected to the wall. They decided to try it out and watched in fascination as the TV continued to play a movie titled San Andreas Fault.
As the ending credits rolled, all of their faces are painted with confusion and wonder.
"Did that actually happen in this world?" Acacia asked nobody in particular, her eyes going wide.
"Uh. I am not sure. Where is that place located? Maybe we should check it out ourselves? We can help them fix their city." Aqualia answered, already thinking of ways where they would be able to fix the lands of those people.
"It would have been better if we were there to stop that huge wave from destroying the place in the first place," Valdimir said, his arm wrapped around Aqualia as she leaned on his shoulder.
"Do you think that young couple is destined to each other? They seem quite comfortable with each other on their first meeting. I thought humans are not capable of finding their soul mates like that? Was that even possible for them?" Hasmal asked with a frown, being particularly concerned about the culture of humans in this world.
"It would be best if we just wait for that trainer that the former king has told us. We can ask them those questions.." Heaven suddenly had a confused look "Would we not look a little out of place if we ask that to the person assigned to us? He might be a human and think of us weirdly?"
"Oh well. Never mind. Let me grab the letter that the former leaders left for us. I had waited for us to be complete before reading it." Heaven declared as she turned off the television with the remote and stood up to get the letter on top of the fireplace.
