After their History Class, they all headed to the cafeteria for their lunch break choosing a long table where they would all fit. There weren't a lot of students around yet as most of their lunch starts at noon.
They started eating while talking amongst themselves.
"Hey, guys." Victoria started, "remember what Uriel said about Vamps? That some of them have gifts... I think Mrs. Clark is gifted." She said while the others looked confused except for Heaven.
"I saw her aura too. It was different from the others, quite unique actually." Heaven said.
"Do you know what it is?" Acacia asked and she shook her head, shrugging.
"No. But I do know that Michelle is no ordinary human." She replied causing all of them to look at her in surprise.
"What is she?" they asked and she shrugged again, not answering their inquiry. They looked at Victoria, hoping to get an answer but she just ignored them, focusing her attention on the food.
The others groaned.
"Will she be part of our group?" Breeze asked,
"Hmm.. that's up to her."
They groaned again at her vague answers and shortly after, they finished their meals as the cafeteria started to fill up.
Heaven's eyes landed on Michelle who quickly averted her eyes and went to seat on the farthest corner. Victoria rolled her eyes at that, watching the interaction.
'Let's walk up to her?' Vic thought to Heaven
'Sure.' She replied before they stood up at the same time.
"Do we need to ask where you're headed?" Acacia asked with a raised eyebrow. The two looked at each other, smirking at them as they left.
'Wanna know what's weird?' Vic asked telepathically,
'It's like Michelle is a pariah in here.' She continued
'I've noticed that too. She'll probably tell us about it soon enough.' Heaven said.
They reached Michelle's table, Heaven taking the seat opposite her while Victoria sat on the other one. She gaped at the two anxiously as the other people around talked animatedly about the shocking event, most of them looking at the trio.
Heaven made a magical barrier to shield their conversation from prying ears. They'll hear a conversation but it'll sound like an ordinary one as shielding it fully will make the Supernaturals go crazy.
"W-what are you two doing?" Michelle hissed nervously, peering at the other people.
"We're quite certain you know what our motive is," Vic told her.
"I-I.. uh." Michelle glanced around, unsure if she can say anything.
"Stop fidgeting like that. Our conversation is protected." Heaven said making her sigh in relief.
"You know what I am?" she asked them.
"Yes, we do. Right, Jessica?" Vic answered and gazed at the ghost in front of her.
The ghost lady laughed as Michelle gaped at her like a fish. The ghost, Jessica slapped her glowing hand on Michelle's back lightly.
"Silly girl. I already told you who these two are. They can see me because of their powers. You can tell what they are if you use your abilities." challenging Michelle as she tests the young girl's powers.
Michelle looked hesitant for a moment before gesturing to Victoria.
"Queen Protector of supernatural people?" Vic nodded happily.
