"Rhea shut the fuck up, I just binged the whole season" Este says as soon as her niece Rhea picks up the phone. She stars in a show called Heartstopper.
"So what did you think?"
"It was amazing! I wanna watch it again. Can I meet the cast? Please tell me you'll let me meet them. They seem like such cool people!"
"Este calm down, I'm glad you liked it and I'll see if you can meet them alright?"
"Okay okay. Is there gonna be a second season?"
"We don't know yet. Have James and Christine watched it?"
"Yeah we watched it together. They just left but I know they loved it as well. We are just so proud of you Rhea. Seriously I can't believe that's you on screen every time you pop up. Like it's actually insane you are in a Netflix show."
"That's exactly how I feel! Like it still feels so unreal. Hopefully people will love it as much as you so we get renewed for season 2."
"When will I see you again?"
"We literally live 10 minutes away from each other. You can come over whenever you like."
"Yeah but you are so busy lately you don't even have time for your best friend."
"Este?"
"Hm?"
"We saw each other yesterday. You are so dramatic."
"Okay yeah I am."
"I'll see you soon okay? Just text me and we'll pick a date. I can even ask Sebastian to come. He plays Ben and loves meeting new people."
"Oh my god that would be so cool! Meeting my niece's famous friends. Yes you should ask him, I'll try not to fangirl."
"Good. Now go to sleep, it's late."
"Sure mom."
"You can call me mom all you want but I am a year older than you!"
"Goodnight Rhea."
"Goodnight Este."
The girls hang up as Este gets herself ready for bed. She follows all the cast members on instagram and opens Spotify. She makes a new playlist inspired by the show and puts on her earphones. She eventually falls asleep around 2am.
