THE WAYS OF MENThe guardian carefully examines the setup in front of him.
Expectant, EunAe asks, "well?"
"It won't work." He says. "If you really want for them to grow, you'll have to plant them differently."
The girl pouts at his answer.
"It makes sense," she says, "no wonder my plants haven't sprouted yet."
"They will." He reassures, smiling warmly at the girl. "You just need to give them time."
EunAe smiles with a nod, quickly jolting down notes as the guardian gives her detailed instructions on how to properly care for her plants.
As they work, the guardian notices an interesting object leaning against the wooden wall.
Tilting his head to the side, he takes a step to examine it, close enough to notice it's design but far enough just in case it proves to be dangerous.
Back on the garden at the front of her house, EunAe goes on asking questions about the different plants she is trying to grow, receiving no sound but the gentle whistle of the wind.
Dusting her hands off, she stands up.
"Namu?" She calls out, but his attention is focused elsewhere.
Following his gaze, she smiles when she notices what the guardian is looking at.
An object connecting two wheels to a metal rod.
Chuckling, she walks ahead of him, carefully pulling the object away from the wall so that he can take a look.
"Do you know what this is?" She asks, but the guardian shakes his head.
"You've never seen a bicycle before?"
"Bicycle." He repeats, his eyes sparkling as he says it. "Is that what it's called?"
At his response, EunAe nods him along.
"Come on," she says, "I'll show you."
Raising a curious brow, he immediately follows after her, watching the 'bicycle' with interest as the wheels spin next to the girl.
As they near the forest, EunAe turns to the guardian, realization dawning on her.
"What's wrong?" He asks.
"I just realized," she begins, "I don't think we're going to be able ride the bicycle in the forest. We need an even surface to able to use it. Something like a road or a clear piece of land.
The guardian pauses to think.
"I know a place we can go," he says, "come on."
