"This is the last box." EunAe says with a soft sigh, clapping her hands a few times to remove the left over dust from the boxes.

Stretching her arms, EunAe slowly lifts her gaze to the sky, wiping her forehead with her hand as she admires the view, her muscles sore as she opens her water bottle and sits on the floor to catch her breath.

It was quite the move but so far she feels good, refreshed even as she watches the trees move to the rhythm of the wind, the breeze singing a calm and pleasant song as it brushes by.

Indeed she really needed a change of scenery.

With a satisfied sigh, EunAe takes a deep breath, placing her phone in her pocket as she stands up, her gaze landing on the open door leading to a messy room filled with piles of boxes.

Her day is far from over, but the breeze makes it easier to keep going, recharging her energy with its gentle breath.

Her gaze shifts from the boxes, to the forest nearby, going back and forth a few times before she makes up her mind.

Perhaps some exploring won't hurt. She needs to get familiar with the area anyway. The boxes will be waiting for her on the same spot when she comes back, the forest on the other hand, is as changing as the sea, full of wonders each passing day.

It's decided. She'll explore for a bit and then come back to finish unpacking before the sun sets.

Satisfied with her decision, she locks the door, securing the keys on her side before she makes her way to the majestic canopy of trees.

The maze of trees stretches in front of her for what seems like an eternity, their uneven patterns adding to the wonder of it all.

Some people say that all trees look the same, but clearly they've never taken the time to pay attention to each tree individually. On the outside and from a distance, they may all look the same, but if you pay attention, you will see how different they are from each other.

Some trees have lived longer than other and thus have more rings around their core. The newer trees are a vibrant green and alive, keeping company to the old wisdom of the forest, thanking the older ones for their protection as they grow. No matter which tree you look at, you will find beauty in all of them.

With a gentle smile on her face, the girl gently places her hand on the trunk of the tree, her eyes following up to the crown above.

Time seems to stop in that moment, all sounds fading into the background as the girl slowly spins around once, her eyes up high on the trees that stretch endlessly into the sky. Slowly, she reaches her hand up, imagining she can reach the top.

What would the view be like from up there?

She wonders, going deeper and deeper into the forest without realizing it.

EunAe doesn't really know where she is going, but something tells her she should continue on her walk. Even though she has walked a good distance, her new home is still faintly visible through the branches and trees.

Much to her surprise, EunAe hasn't seen any animals around, making her wonder where they are. A few sounds are heard here and there, but not one has showed, though she doesn't blame them, she is a stranger in their territory after all.

However, there is something interesting about this particular forest. By the time she comes out of her thoughts, the scenery has changed quite a bit, new trees lining her path, different from the ones near the edge of the forest.

When did that happen?

She must have been too lost in her thoughts to notice.

That is the first mistake EunAe makes. Now, she can no longer tell which way she came from.

You see, forests can be a tricky place, the sights, sounds, and smells so deceiving that is very easy for someone to get lost. Lost in the majestic clutches of nature.

Her second mistake, is not being aware of her surroundings. She had kept her gaze up as she walked, failing to notice the creeping vines around her ankles.

The beauty of the forest now has a mysterious feel to it, a strong wind blowing before everything stills.

The last thing heard is a yelp before the forest goes quiet.
