After hanging up the call, Jason glanced towards the kitchen.

The beautiful woman of his life was standing in the kitchen.

She was wearing denim shorts and pink t-shirt. A black apron tied over it.

Her hair was tied in a ponytail.
Her hazel eyes were focused on the cookbook in her hand.

Jason was mesmerized with the view.

Soon, Sara moved nervously, she picked up a crab with the help of tongs and stood at the distance from the stove. She counted to three and threw the crab in the pot of boiling water. A few drops of water splash over the stove countertop.

Jason chuckled at the scene.

Sara had never cooked. She was raised with lots of servants by her side for every task.

Today, somehow, she insisted to cook for him and Leo. She was following a cookbook and preparing dinner accordingly.

And Boy, seeing her current activities in the kitchen, Jason was bit worried now!

"he... he... he... Aunt Sara. The crab is dead. It will not bite you." Leo giggled on how Sara threw the crab into the pot as if it will come alive and bite her.

Jason chuckled.

Sara frowned and glanced at her cook book for further instructions.

She took a knife and chopper board and started cutting mushrooms. She added some butter in a pan and threw mushrooms inside,  and covered the pan with a lid.

She prepared another pan on the cooktop. Added butter and threw chicken slices in it from quite a distance to avoid sputtering of the butter.

Then she covered that pan as well and sighed in relief. She patted her chest.

Jason gulped nervously at her actions.

Sara glanced at him and smiled.

She reassured him that she can manage it, and he can go sit with Leo.

She again read her cookbook and started chopping other required ingredients and vegetables to make the dishes.

Jason and Leo got busy watching some videos on his iPad.

After preparing all ingredients, Sara started scrolling through her social media account and got engrossed in it. She lost track of time.

"Something is burning." Leo sniffed suddenly and exclaimed.

Jason turned towards the kitchen and saw Sara giggling and smiling at her phone.

"Aunt Sara, something is burning!" Leo spoke in his kiddish voice but loud enough to be heard by Sara.

Sara turned towards the two adorable men of her life with a big smile on her face. One big handsome figure and one small cute figure staring at her worriedly.

Suddenly she sniffed and the smell of burning hit her nostrils. Her smile faded. Sara widened her eyes, and instantly she removed the lid from one of the pans in which she was cooking chicken. As soon as she removed the lid, the burning smell spread across the kitchen.

"Oh my god!!" she screamed. "It is burned!".

Then she opened another lid where she was sautéing mushroom. That too was burned and turned black.

"No... No... No... This cannot happen." Sara started scraping the pan hurriedly. She got more and more nervous and frustrated.

"No... this is not good. Damn it! Why the heck it burnt!" She started cursing.
