72- Ugly glasses

Rizi on the other end was working on her laptop. She had changed her outfit and was wearing a loose-fitting t-shirt and lounge pants.

She had removed her wig as well and was sitting leisurely on the bed focused on her laptop.

She had decided to change her appearance while staying in central ford city because she never knows when she will encounter someone familiar.

She didn't want to risk her and Leo's identities.

She hacked the CCTV camera of the residential area that her uncle stayed in for a couple of days.

Based on time and date, she pulled out CCTV  footage and started watching carefully. She saw the car number which her Uncle was driving.

She followed the CCTV footage and observed him parking his car in front of a villa.

Villa's entrance was quite away from the CCTV camera. It was difficult to see if someone was there on the door.

Her uncle stepped out of the car and loosened his tie. Angrily stomped and rushed inside the villa.

"Why is he here?" Rizi thought to herself.

"Who is staying there?"

She tried to dig more information on the property owner. She found out that the villa was owned by Stefano Rosselini. She dug for more information, then found that Stefano Rosselini is one of the famous businessmen from Austria.

His accounts were clean and nothing malicious or dubious. She needs more time to look into other details.

Meanwhile, she hacked CCTV footage from the past couple of months. She randomly selected and played footages to see if anyone comes out of that villa or any other car visiting the place. But no luck.

She decided to take the help of Abby and her team to go through the complete footage to see if they can find something.

She had strong instincts that she is near to the breakthrough.

She was in deep thought, that she heard a beep sound of a new email received.

It was from Field Marshal Morris asking her to visit the National Security Agency headquarters tomorrow at 10 pm with Zack and Abby. Rizi quickly responded confirming her arrival.

Rizi got so involved in her work that she lost track of time. She didn't realize it was already evening.

Leo stirred and woke up groggily. Feeling movements next to her, Rizi placed her laptop aside and kissed on Leo's forehead.

"C'mon wakey wakey! Go and freshen up. We will go downstairs and take a walk."

"Okay, mama! But I am hungry!" Leo yawned and lazily nodded. He got down from the bed and lazily wobbled towards the washroom.

Rizi smiled and stood up. She decided to go down and prepare some quick snacks for Leo.

As soon as she stepped out of the room, Leo peaked out his head from the washroom. His mother was no longer there.

He quickly rushed towards her laptop.

His mother has forgotten to log off. When he woke up, he side-eyed and saw that the screen was still on when she was putting her laptop aside.

It was rare to find such an occasion.

He had tried multiple times in the past to unlock her mother's laptop, but was successful only once. The very next day, his mother has changed the secure locking algorithm thinking there was a virus.

He checked his mother's email.

He was already aware that she is the Dark web Master01. He just wanted to see what she was up to now and it doesn't compromise her safety.

He read about her new assignments and mission. Leo had sharp senses. If not for his health, he would have done so much already for his mother. He heard faint footsteps of someone climbing the stairs.

He knew it was his mother. He hurriedly re-open the minimized tabs and set it on the table in a similar way his mother had left it earlier.

He rushed in the washroom and washed his face.

Meanwhile, Rizi opened the door and saw that her son was still in the washroom. She placed the food tray and saw that she had accidentally left the laptop unlocked.

She hurriedly shut it down and closed it. She was glad her son was still in the washroom as she knew he was smarter than his age.

Leo came out wiping his face with a towel using his small hands. He looked so innocent and calm. He saw his mother has closed her laptop now.

He sighed inwardly. How long she can hide things!

"Come, baby! Quickly eat your few snacks and then your medicines!"

Leo sat on the bed and picked up the slice of pizza toast. Both quickly finished their snacks. Rizi wore back her pink wig and additionally wore a big cat-eyed frame study glasses. Glasses changed her look drastically making her look somewhat funky and ugly.

"Is this necessary mama?" Leo scrunched his face and pointed towards her ugly glasses.

"Yes, it is! Now let's go."

"But it's ugly!"

"So what?"

"No one will look at you this way. And this ugly pink hair!"

"Why would I want someone to look at me?"

"Obviously to get married in future!"

Rizi coughed hard.

"I don't want to get married, and you don't have to worry about it. I have other pressing matters. Let's go now!"

"But everyone needs a partner, mama!" Leo argued.

He was trying to find suitable prospects for his mother. He did some research and figured out that many rich bachelor businessmen are staying in the Trinity Residential Area. If anyone will pass by or  is out for an evening walk, seeing his mother's ugly look, no one is going to pay heed to her.

Rizi ignored his childish banter and placed a beanie cap on his head. This kid acting much more mature than his age!

But she can't help it.

Both mother and son went for an evening walk outside the villa holding each other's hands to enjoy the greenery and fresh air.
