CHANAÏS DROPPED ONTO the sofa with a sigh, ready to give up on her medical essays that were due in a few days' time. the sun seeped through her london apartment, music softly played in the background yet for some reason, she still wasn't at ease.
jadon had stopped by earlier before he went to training but now that she was left to her own devices, she found it hard to focus on anything.
there was only one other thing on her mind, though it was way too early to be doing it. yet she did it anyways.
grabbing her ipad and logging onto her spam account, she went through mason's instagram, reading ever caption, occasionally scoffing at his cringey captions or zooming in on the posts.
most of them were with their shared friends, so she had no idea how she actually didn't acknowledge him up until now.
being careful so as not to accidentally like any posts, she continued scrolling through and even looked in his highlights. "this is unhealthy, i need to stop" she told herself, all while continuing to look through his feed.
in all fairness, he didn't seem like that bad. he was a family man, something chanaïs absolutely loved about her friends, and he looked like he had a good personality.
