Chapter 6

Y/n's pov

I woke up the next morning to someone knocking on my door. I got dressed and when I opened it I saw Master Windu, "Master Windu... why are you here?" I asked as he walked in "I was told about your knighting today, I wanted to congratulate you on becoming the youngest knight in history," he replied surprising me "you're surprised," he chuckled "I just didn't think I was the youngest in history, I knew I was going to be one of but not the youngest," I explained with a small smile. Master Windu placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled, which is incredibly rare, "you earned this, I suggest you go tell your father," he said and walked out. I looked at the time and saw I have three hours till the knighting. 

I knocked on my father's door and when it opened I saw him smiling. "Y/n, why are you here? please come in," he asked as he let me in "this padawan braid, it's not gonna be around much longer," I said smiling "you're being knighted?" he asked "yep!" I exclaimed and he hugged me, "congratulations," Dad replied "youngest in history," I said "the youngest? I'm proud of you," he whispered. 

When I got back to the temple I found Ahsoka eating alone in the mess hall. I grabbed some food and sat across from her. "Hey," I said getting her attention "hey, you're not usually up at this time, what's changed?" she asked smirking "well, I'm being knighted in an hour," I replied and her eyes widened "we have to celebrate!" Ahsoka exclaimed "knowing my father he's already planning one," I said "you told your dad before me? I'm hurt," she gasped.

It was now noon and I walked into the council chamber to find them all here, which is pretty much unheard of at the moment, all but Master Yoda and my father stood up with hoods on and their lightsabers activated. "Kneel, you shall," Master Yoda ordered, I nodded and knelt, "Y/n Organa, by the right of the council, by the will of the force, dub thee I do, jedi knight of the Republic," he announced and cut off my padawan braid. I stood up and smiled at my master, and Master Yoda, "leave, you may, wish you luck, we do," Master Yoda said, I nodded and left.

After an hour of meditating in front of the great tree, I think they call it that, I sensed someone walking over. I opened my eyes and landed, yeah I meditate while levitating, I looked to see Tarkin stood there "what do you want Captain?" I asked "to congratulate you of your knighting, and to inform you that you will be given a battalion and you shall be made a general," he explained "thank you Captain," I replied, he nodded and left.

I walked into the jedi archives to find Jocasta Nu sorting through some books, and nobody else was in here. "Master Nu, how are you?" I asked getting her attention "good, but you can call Jocasta now, only padawans need to call me master," she replied with a smile, I nodded and walked over to a shelf "am I allowed deeper into the archives now?" I asked "of course, you may learn from any of the information in here, all except the restricted section," she said "thank you," I replied and picked up a book that has force abilities in. 

As I read through it I found I know most of them. I found out that there are gems that increase a force users power tenfold, but unless they are strong willed enough it will cause them to go insane. I put it back and went to a computer, "might I ask what you are searching for?" Jocasta asked "the location of ancient temples, see if their is any information that the archives doesn't hold," I explained "well, if their is something not in the archives, then it does not exist," she argued "I think you're wrong," I replied "and an ancient temple might have a few things that aren't here," "well you're welcome to try proving me wrong, but I doubt you will," she said and walked off. I began researching and soon found that there are some temples on: Yavin 4, Tython, Lothal and more. I wrote them down and turned off the machine, "are you finished?" I turned and saw Jocasta "I am," I said "well, I wish you luck," she replied "no such thing as luck, only the force," I corrected and left.
