(DISCONTINUED) Forbidden | Ahsoka X Reader

Chapter 8

Ahsoka and I were ordered back to Coruscant. 

We walked into the council chamber, as ordered, and found Captain Tarkin as a hologram. "General Organa, Commander Tano, you have a mission with the new battalion," Tarkin said "where?" I asked "Umbara, you will be fighting to keep trade routes open to Kashyyyk. We cannot afford to lose any more worlds," he explained "you will meet your admiral soon, he is the newest admiral, and his name Admiral Thrawn," I nodded and we left.

We flew to my new Acclimator, I was given a choice between this and a venator as my flag ship and I chose this. 

"Ah, General Organa, I've heard stories about you, time to see if they are true," Admiral Thrawn said as we walked into the command bridge "I assure you Admiral, they're just stories. Meet Commander Tano, Skywalker's padawan," I replied, a map was brought up by my new captain and I saw three dots as we entered hyperspace. "Each dot represents where our ground forces will be stationed, once we clear out these three military bases Generals Skywalker, Kenobi, Mundi and Krell will join and we will do a pincer manoeuvre on the capital," Thrawn explained "what about space? I assume they have a blockade?" I asked "I will handle the space battle, you worry about the ground,  he replied "Admiral, I appreciate being aware of what my troops, clones or not, are doing. I want to know the plan, now tell me," I ordered and he sighed "there is a blockade yes, we will be taking them directly, this ship is designed for this sort of tactic. I take it this is why you chose it?" he explained "it is. Ahsoka will assist in the space battle, I've seen what the umbarans have in their arsenal of military weaponry, she will be of great assistance, before coming down to the planet and assisting one of the companies I am not leading," I said "hmm... it might work, I take it your captain is going to be leading the final company?" Thrawn asked "yes, I take he is a competent leader," I replied.

Once Thrawn, Captain Nemo and I were alone we began to talk on the Clone War as a whole. "I have intel on a weapon that could win us the war," he said and brought up something "this is an ancient superweapon-" "the mass shadow generator, it is the core of Malachor V, I am well aware Admiral. It won Revan the Mandalorian War if I remember correctly?" I interrupted "yes, I feel that once this operation is a success we should try to retrieve it, use it ourselves," he said and I thought for a moment "I agree it could win us the war, what worries me is what would happen afterwards. The effects will be just as bad if not worse than last time," I replied "I only knew it was a success," Nemo commented "no, it also created a wound in the force. Darth Nihilus, the lord of hunger, was born that day. He almost wiped out the jedi order, only one jedi master remained after his death, and the Republic was almost destroyed," I explained "what was his power? we could use such power to our advantage," Thrawn asked "by the time of his death he could consume entire worlds in seconds, ancient sith lords required several to do so. What also concerns me is reactivating this weapon reawaken him," I replied as I saw we were about to arrive "prepare the troops, we're here," I ordered.

We watched from the bridge as the battle raged, and I noticed a station was constantly sending out vultures and buzz droids, almost making them here. "For every droid we destroy another five replace it! this is getting worrying," Nemo said "calm yourself Captain, I have located the source. The command stations are where they are coming from, order our best pilots to divert their full focus onto them instead of ships," I ordered, he nodded and got to it. I saw several starfighters, including Ahsoka's, divert to the command stations "fire on that flag ship," I ordered and the pilots began to do as ordered. I watched as we broke through shields and quickly destroyed the ship. Once the the ships had been dealt with we focused all our fire power on the stations. I saw more and more vultures were being sent out, "they're getting desperate," Thrawn said with smirk "yes, keep things steady Admiral, I'd like to join the fun," he nodded and I went to my ship.

I flew out in my Naboo starfighter towards the stations and was soon being targeted. "Y/n! you alright?" Ahsoka asked over the comms "of course, hey keep these droids busy, I'm gonna go take one out from the inside," I said "what does that mean?!" she exclaimed "it means this is where the fun begins," I replied smirking and turned off my comm. 

I got my starfighter in a station and while making my way to a reactor I blew up many droids. I reached it and saw a ray shield. "For Kriff sake," I groaned jumping out, I force pulled a grenade I spotted into my hand and ran inside the shield. I threw it at the reactor and ran back to my ship. I turned it around and began flying at full speed, I knew one thing and it was I'll barely make it. I was being shot at by several vultures, but they were soon destroyed by the explosion. 

I got out and watched it crash into another station and they both exploded. I turned my comm back on and found Ahsoka screaming at me "thanks for worrying about me," I commented "you're an idiot!" she exclaimed "might I mention I just took out two stations," I argued "we got them fleeing General, the ground assault can begin," Admiral Thrawn said and we returned to the Acclimator with minimal casualties.
