Chapter 15

Y/n's pov

I arrived above Zygerria with Grievous' body in my storage as a trophy, don't ask why, and the lightsabers of the dead.

I landed my ship in the hangar of my acclimator and walked to the bridge. When I arrived I saw Thrawn and Yularen speaking, "General, are you alright?" Thrawn asked once he noticed me "yes, thank you Admiral, Grievous is dead," I replied "how are you sure?" Yularen asked and I showed the bag of Grievous parts "I like to keep trophies," I commented to his shock "this should help in the war effort," Thrawn said and I nodded in agreement as I saw a venator come out of hyperspace. "Who's that?" I asked "General Plo," Thrawn replied and a transmission came through, we answered and the kel-dor appeared. "Organa, why are in your acclimator?" he asked "because I just got here from Naboo, where- never mind that for now, just go help the others," I replied and he nodded before turning to the admirals. "Admirals, report," he ordered "Generals Skywalker and Kenobi have located the togruta, we need your help to get them out," Yularen explained "I will help in any way I can," Master Plo replied and they explained their plan. 

The two ships flew down to the surface and I soon saw the togruta falling, reacting quickly I used the force to hold up as many as I could. I sensed Master Plo, Obi-wan and Skywalker doing the same. I watched as they were lowered into Master Plo's venator and when they were all safe I passed out. 

Several hours later

I opened my eyes to see Fives and Ahsoka next to me with worried looks. I smiled a little at them as I slowly sat up, "are the togruta alright?" I asked "yes, yes they are," Fives replied as Ahsoka pulled me into a tight hug. "Don't ever frighten me like that again!" Ahsoka scolded "I won't try to, also it actually turns out I did something you'd do," I replied hugging back "and what's that?" she asked "has Thrawn or Yularen showed you the bag I had?" I asked "no, we didn't know you had a bag," Fives said. 

We entered the command bridge and the bag was still there. "Are we finally going to be able to see what's in there?" Skywalker groaned and I noticed Master Plo, Obi-wan, Rex, Wolffe, Cody, and Nemo were all in here. "I guess so," Obi-wan chuckled, I put the bag on the holotable and opened it. They were shocked to see the remains of the feared Separatist general, "you... defeated Grievous?" Rex muttered "I did, really took the wind out of me," I said smirking as I glanced at Ahsoka who was still taking it all in. But when she did she punched my arm, "wha- what was that for?!" I exclaimed "you killed him without me," she replied "and by the looks of things you've made sure he's dead," Master Plo said "I... sort of ripped out all his organs," I mumbled and got a glare from the kel-dor "what? I had to make sure he couldn't attack me. There's a reason he was so feared," I said. 

When we walked into the council chamber for the reports they were all clearly curious. "Was the mission a success?" Master Windu asked "yes, and the war is going to end sooner now," Obi-wan said "how so?" Master Gallia asked "Organa here killed General Grievous on his own," he replied shocking the council "how? he wasn't on Zygerria," Master Mundi asked "I diverted to Naboo, they were being invaded and I couldn't just sit by," I said "then when the orbital had been won I ordered Thrawn to take the battalion to Zygerria as I'd be able to catch up," "you've truly proven yourself as a general, and as a jedi. The council and the Republic thanks you for your efforts," Master Windu stated "oh cool can I be made a master?" I asked smirking, obviously joking and they knew it, "soon, defeat a sith and happen it shall," Master Yoda replied but Skywalker apparently didn't catch on "hey! I became a knight first! and have a padawan!" Skywalker argued "it was a joke Sky guy, don't worry," Ahsoka said patting him on the back. 

Later that day I was called back to the council chamber. I walked into the room and bowed, "you summoned me Masters?" I asked "yes, we believe you are ready for a padawan of your own," Master Tiin announced surprising me "go and choose you may," Master Yoda added "I don't need to go to a class to know who my padawan will be. You already know it's Grogu," I replied "you are aware he will be difficult to train?" Master Mundi asked "I am, but the force is telling me to do this," I said. The council members looked at one another and they each nodded, "your padawan he shall be, go tell him you may," I nodded at him and bowed before leaving again. 

I walked to Grogu's class and saw them all practicing lightsaber combat. I smiled a little but saw Grogu was struggling. I looked at Master Secura, the instructor of the lesson, and she noticed me. She told them to continue and walked over. "Organa, how are you?" she asked with a smile "no need for the formality. I'm good. And I'm here because my new padawan is in your class," I replied "alright Y/n, and you can call me Aayla. Might I ask who your new padawan is?" she inquired "Grogu," I said to her surprise "come on in," I nodded and walked back in with her. "Initiates, say hello to Organa," she said "hello Master Organa," they all replied, well except Grogu who is technically still a baby, "hello," I chuckled. I noticed Grogu was happy to see me and I sensed a force bond growing already. I smiled and walked over before kneeling, "hello there," I said and he hugged my leg "what's going on?" one of the others asked but I didn't reply "Grogu, I shall be your new master," I stated and he let out a few coos before jumping into my arms. I looked at Aayla who nodded, "I suggest you two go spend some time together, Padawan Grogu, Master Organa," she said with a soft smile.
