ONE WEEK AGO...
vinnie set up the camera and sat down. he let out a deep sigh and stared blankly at the wall in silence, not knowing how or where to begin.
"i- i honestly don't even know what to say or how to begin all of this shit without sounding cheesy. i just hate the fact that i feel like i can't properly express myself without being called a 'simp.'" he explained, putting air quotes around the last word.
vinnie took another deep breath and continued, "anyways, as a lot of you know, me and vegas- i mean- nevada have been friends for almost a year now. it's no secret that there has been flirting, comments under instagram posts, and that drama with she who shall not be named."
"i could not have asked for a better best friend. someone who has been there for me at my worst, but still loves me the same. someone who i trust with my entire life. someone who i know would never take advantage of me in any way."
vinnie paused, realizing he was getting emotional and took a short break to drink some water.
"i- i'm genuinely so lucky to have someone like her in my life. everybody needs a nevada in their life and i would probably kill someone if they tried to take mine. not only is she my bestfriend, i'd say she's probably my soulmate. whether it's platonic or romantically. she's my other half. she has my heart."
"i wish i was better at explaining this," vinnie sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "but... she's amazing. she's someone who understands me, even when i don't make sense. someone who brings so much light into my life. she's the best thing that has ever happened to me and holy fucking shit, is she beautiful."
vinnie's leg bounced as the next few words slowly came out of his mouth, "i want to be with her. i feel dumb that it took me this long to actually admit it to myself. i want nevada hall to be my girlfriend. she has no idea i'm recording this. i have the idea, i just need to platform."
"i know how i want to set it all up, i just hope i actually go through with it. i want it to be special. she deserves the world and even though i can't physically give it to her, the least i could do is try."
"hopefully, it all works out. i'll see you guys later."
