Morning came, which meant it was time to conquer Sasha's super awesome plan to solve everyone's problems and make everything okay.

Step one being: get through to Grime.

She'll explain later, for now Sasha had to deal with something else. That being the mermaid girl who was sleeping soundly next to her in bed.

There was an eventful day ahead and Sasha didn't plan to spend it hauled up in her room this time. It seemed as if Anne had different plans though, considering the fact that she had her arms wrapped around Sasha in a comfortable death grip. Getting up would ultimately result in walking up the girl and Sasha didn't have the heart to do that.

For Anne, at least.

Anne's way it is then!

Sasha took advantage of their position, embracing Anne as well.

She might have fallen back to sleep if it weren't for freaking Grime.

Again.

"Sasha!" He was pounding on the door, "Come out lieutenant!"

Sasha gritted her teeth.

"God dammit Grime!" She yelled causing Anne to stir.

"Please come out, Sasha!" Grime pleaded, thankfully only speaking from the other side of the door, "We need to talk!"

Sasha cursed and finally got up from bed, surely waking up Anne in the process. She stomped her way over to the door, cracking it slightly.

"What do you want, Grime?" She asked, still in her pajamas, sporting a head full of unbrushed hair.

"Yeesh did you just get up?" Grime asked, completely unfiltered.

"Yes and if you're here to apologize then I don't want to hear it right now."

"That's not it. Something else came up, come talk to me once you've fully woken up."

Sasha just scoffed and slammed the door on him. She turned around, ready to retreat back to bed only to be met with a pair of dark brown eyes.

"Hi," Anne said softly. She was sitting up in bed now, fully awake.

"Hey," Sasha replied, face automatically heating up at the sight of her.

"What was that all about?"

"Yeah sorry about that," Sasha rubbed the back of her neck before reclaiming her spot in the bed again, "I didn't mean to wake you."

"It's okay, I was awake anyway." Anne grinned mischievously and at that Sasha laughed.

"Do you want to wait here for a little bit while I go talk with Captain Grime?"

"Okay." Anne hummed and laid back down onto the bed.

"Don't fall asleep though," Sasha walked over to the doorway, "I have a lot of plans for today."

At that Sasha was closing the door behind her and beginning to walk over to the meeting room, where Grime was surely waiting. Crewmates greeted her on her way, saying things like 'Good morning Sasha' and 'How are you Commander Sasha?' Two stood out amongst the crowd.

"Hi Sash." It was Percy and Braddock, and for some reason they were speaking like gossipy little middle schoolers.

"Hey you two." Sasha greeted them suspiciously.

"I went to go check on Anne this morning and she wasn't there." Percy beamed.

"So then I went to go tell Captain Grime about it and he said that she was with you!" Braddock added happily.
