Dear Marcy,

Our ship was attacked. Everything is okay. The mermaid is safe, it might just be a little while longer before we make it back.

"Ugh," Marcy scoffed, leaning back into one of the many pillars of the chilling throne room, "She's always so brief. Could've at least given me an estimate or something."

A loud, thundering groan spread across the king's chest, shaking the ground, causing Marcy to topple over.

"I never liked that girl anyways," he said, "If it weren't for you Marcy, she'd be in a prison." Andrias's expression grew dark, "Or far worse."

"Sasha's always been kind of a brute." Marcy collected herself and arose from her new spot on the floor, "That's just how she is, but don't worry. We're not making a mistake trusting her again, even after all of her crimes. Sasha's far more useful than you could ever imagine, plus you know, she's my friend."

This time, the king laughed, turning the room into an earthquake far worse than his groan from before. Marcy fell flat on her butt as the king stared at her from upon his throne, before rising and stepping down towards the girl.

While shimmying his foot across the coral tiles of the palace floors, he managed to find a loose one. After immediately applying pressure to the spot, it worked as if it were a button, causing another pillar to rise from the ground and the floor to light up.

Resting perfectly atop the pillar was an object that Marcy had become all too familiar with.

A music box.

Though it appeared to look much more like a treasure chest.

One that was decorated thoroughly with carvings of frogs depicted as beautiful mermaids. It was rimmed with gold, and embedded into the box were three shells. One turned gray, while the other two glistened beautiful shades of pink and green.

"Oh Marcy..." Andrias turned to the girl who was almost beaming at the sight of the chest. His tone was almost melancholy, "Once we get what we want you won't have to worry about your friend. In fact, I'm sure you won't need any ever again."

The darkness in his words was present, and very much noticeable.

Despite this, Marcy grinned.

Excited and prepared for whatever evil was looming ahead.

Laberous training in preparation for the rebellion made life on the ship absolutely exhausting.

Sparring between crewmates, mapping out battle plans and strategies, it was all very tiring. No more breaks for the time being too, there just wasn't enough time. In fact, time was something they had almost nothing of.

Grime quickly ran it past Sasha that their crew was simply not large enough to rebel alone, even with the extra assistance of the mermaid who was now a part of their army.

"We'll have to meet up with the lords of the other towers and ask for their assistance." Grime stated, "Though I'm afraid we won't have enough time to do so, unless we want to become suspicious under the eyes of Marcy and the king..."

The issue lies in the location of The North Tower, with it being located on some remote island off the east coast of Newtopia. Toads were stationed there in order to keep more of the water dwellers in line. It also happened to be one of the main meeting places for all four of the towers. If a toad had something they needed to discuss, like maybe the support for a rebellion against the entire political system of Amphibia, North Tower was the place to go.
