Murray and I walked Milty along the lady's driveway.
Murray carried a large bag in his right hand and my hand in his left.
He loves me very much, so of course, he has to understand me.
I'm glad Murray understands me, because I can be myself around him.
He's the best person to be myself around. I just needed to approach him about Burt. I hadn't told him about his autobiography yet.
I looked at the bag Murray was holding and said "What have you got there?"
"A bag of dog food. I thought we'd need it if we have a dog here. Why?" said Murray.
"Let me see that" I said.
"By all means" said Murray.
He handed me his large bag and I read the label on it.
It said "Gentle Giants".
"Gentle Giants? Burt Ward!" I thought.
"Murray! Do you realize what we're doing? This is exactly the first step to finding a home for Milty here" I said out loud.
"What do you mean?" said Murray.
"Only that if Milty likes this dog food, we're in business" I said.
"I don't understand, Sam. What's so exciting about this particular dog food brand?" said Murray.
"Brand? Brand?! Murray, this'll go beautifully with a dog this size! And... uh... and... the label says it has allergy prevention! Allergy prevention is perfect for dogs. We wouldn't want dogs being allergic to their food" I said excitedly.
Burt really knows how to keep his product safe for health purposes, huh? Better yet, he knows how to keep anyone safe. He's Robin, for crying out loud!
"Well... show it to your brother, I guess. And then we'll, you know..." Murray began.
"We don't wanna throw this into Peter's treasure collection! This is special" I said.
"But we're supposed to return to the basement before sundown or your Baba will..." Murray started.
"Murray! There are possibilities unexplored here. We gotta feed this to Milty and see if he likes it" I said.
"Okay then" said Murray opening the bag.
"Come on, Milty. Eat up" I said.
Milty sniffed the food then started eating it.
"Look. He likes it" said Murray.
"Just as I thought" I said.
It was thundering a little as I said that.
"That storm's getting closer. Hey, Sam?" said Murray.
"Yes, Murray?" I said.
"You think that maybe we shouldn't be so..." Murray began.
Lightning struck and Muzz and I fell backwards.
Milty did too, but he immediately got up and kept eating Burt's dog food.
I sat up to find him doing just that.
"Muzz! Look" I said.
Murray sat up and said "What is it?"
"Amazing! That's what it is. Milty was hit by lightning but he immediately forgot about it and went back to the food" I said.
"Why, yes. I suppose that is unlikely for most dogs" said Murray.
"Oh, we gotta do that again! But given the fact that Milty hesitated before eating... it may need something" I said.
"What?" said Murray.
"I know just the thing! Saffron. A little saffron would make this. And then it'll be perfect for Milty" I said.
"Saffron. Why am I afraid that it's in the lady's kitchen?" said Murray.
"Because it is. Don't worry, Muzz. It'll be fine" I said.
