I took Milty into the basement.
Baba wasn't around so he was safe.
I turned on the TV and Batman was on.
I looked at the boy in the strange costume consisting of a green T-shirt, a red vest with an R on it, flesh colored tights, a black mask and utility belt, a gold cape and green gloves and boots much like my brother's.
I thought his face looked familiar.
I opened Burt's autobiography and compared his picture to the one I was seeing on TV.
That funny boy in the costume was Robin. Burt.
"Wow" I said to myself.
Milty licked Burt's picture to say he liked what he saw.
"I know, bud. This boy gets more interesting all the time" I said.
Milty then grabbed a piece of paper in his mouth and handed it to me.
"What's this?" I said.
I looked at the paper and it was a coupon for a dog rescuing campaign called "Gentle Giants".
And it said that the head of the company was Burt Ward.
"Gawrsh! He's not Robin anymore in this time and he's still doing heroic things" I said.
Then I looked at Milty and thought that maybe if Burt took him in at his dog rescuing charity, he'd have an owner again.
"Milty, I'll have an owner for you in no time" I said.
So now, I had a secret life.
The only one who knew about it was my husband, Murray Cook.
Muzz and I know all of each other's secrets so why keep this one from him?
And he loves dogs so he was the right person to go to.
Milty and I went looking for him.
We found him practicing his guitar music just outside the basement.
"Psst. Hey, Murray. Murray" I whispered.
Murray turned back and said "Sam. Where'd you get the dog?"
"From right there. He needs help. Come on. You're good at taking care of animals. Help me take care of this dog and figure out where he can stay" I said.
