I finally managed to find some saffron.
"Ah, l'aquila saffron. Italian, huh?" I said.
Murray laughed and added the spice to the dog food.
Milty took a bite and another bite and another bite. He absolutely loved the added saffron.
"Sam, you're a genius" said Murray.
"I can't take credit for inventing the dog food brand. Burt is excellent. Good thing the old lady is a Batman lover" I said.
Just then, I heard a voice on the TV.
I looked and the man talking was Burt Ward himself.
"Hey! That's Burt Ward! Murray, look" I squealed.
Muzz and I both watched Burt talk to an interviewer about his experience on Batman.
It was a rerun of an old interview where he talked about his relationship with Adam West, who played Batman.
"Adam and I have been very close friends. We're very, very, dear friends. Adam was like a mentor for me. I mean, he had a lot of experience in acting and for me, doing Batman, was my very first thing. We've always been good friends, we're dear friends, now!" Burt said on TV.
"Gawrsh..." I sighed to myself.
Just then, a narrator spoke on TV.
But it was not to last.
In 2017, Adam West suffered from leukemia. Neither him nor Burt Ward knew what he was going through.
They were to go to a comic book convention together, but West died shortly prior.
It was a severe blow to Ward, who claims that he will forever miss his dear friend and cast mate.
"Adam West... is dead?" I said in shock.
