Something New

After I finished with the dog food in my secret vault, I scoped out the area to make sure no one was around.

"Milty. Where are you?" I said.

Milty scampered to where I was.

"Hey, bud. This is the studio Ward acted in. I wonder what he thought of it when he first walked into it" I said.

Milty handed me Burt's autobiography. 

"Oh, yeah. Thanks, buddy. Why didn't I think of that?" I said.

I looked for a paragraph that talked about Burt's first thoughts of the studio.

My new agent called. He set up my first interview that afternoon. I was sent to 20th Century Fox Studios in West Los Angeles California and told to see a certain casting director, but I didn't know what the role was. As I passed through the massive studio gates I felt a surge of adrenaline. This was the studio where some of the most famous motion pictures of all time had been made.

Wow! Burt didn't know what he was doing when he came here? That just blew my mind!

But still. A surge of adrenaline is exactly what I felt when I found out this was the Batman studio. 

And also what I felt when I found that I was so close to getting Milty to Burt.

"One day, Milty... he'll be telling these stories to you" I said.

I went looking for Tracy. 

I found her dusting the studio's camera.

"Hey! I finished what you had to do" I said.

"Good girl. Mr Dozier said his dog loves Gentle Giants very much" said Tracy.

"Great. I gotta tell you, ol' Burt did a smart thing when he started this jazz" I said.

Dozier entered and I retreated to my vault. 

"Tracy. Every dog in Bronson Canyon loves this dog food of Burt's. They're asking what is new here in the studio" he said.

"New?" said Tracy.

"Yes! What do I tell them?"

"What did you tell them?"

"I told them I would ask"

"What are you blathering about?" said Posner.

"People are asking if Ward's creations are now on Batman or something" Tracy explained.

"What should I tell them?" said Dozier.

"What did you tell them?" said Posner.

"I told them I would ask!"

"This is simple. Just tell them it's not on the show" said Posner.

"They know all that. They're asking where they can find your daughter's creation" said Dozier.

"Me?" said Tracy. 

"Yes. Now could you please bring us some of that creation of yours?" said Dozier.

"Excuse me a minute" said Tracy.

She entered my vault and said "Oh, my dear, my dear! Did you hear what I just went through?"

"Every word" I said.

"What should I do?" said Tracy.

"Just bring the guys the dog food. Burt would" I said.

"Yes, of course" said Tracy.

She grabbed a bag of Gentle Giants dog food and fed it to the dogs that were at the door.

Every dog absolutely loved it.

This day was such a success.

After everyone in the studio left, I decided to get some air.

I really did it tonight.
