𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐘 (𝔗𝔞𝔦𝔩 𝔒𝔣 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔅𝔯𝔬𝔨𝔢𝔫 ℜ𝔢𝔡 𝔗𝔥𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔡)

Prologue

The annual Fair commenced in the market of Itaewon. As far as the eye can see there are people all dressed in various attires drifting to the stall that has caught their attention. 

A captivating scene for both tourists and residents alike.

Entering the fair is a family consisting of two teenage girls, One with black hair with blonde streaks and the other with brown hair, A lady with bubblegum pink hair and a black-haired man. All attired in pairs. The first pair is the father and daughter duo in full black attire both adorning a long black coat while the other pair is the other daughter and mother. The mother is dressed in white with a long white coat while the daughter is in a yellow skirt suit. Each daughter walked beside their respective matching parental figure.

"Waahhh this is so cool look at all the booths.", one daughter said tugging the sleeve of her mother's coat.

"Yes, it's all so cool.", the other daughter said from beside he father. She then turned to her father gesturing to the booth with strawberries and chocolate.

"Appa, Eomma I'm gonna go buy a strawberry do you want one?", she asked.

"No that's okay you can go.", Goo Ryeon responded and Joong-gil nod in agreement.

"Yah! am I invisible?", the other daughter yelled.

"I wish", she responded only to receive a hit to the back of her head by her father.

"Nabi-ah be nice to your sister for once please.", he stated.

"Ha", her sister said smugly

"Fine, sorry. Sunny do you want one too?", she asked with a fake smile.

"No, but I will tag along.", Sunny responded with a teasing smile.

Nabi clicked her tongue and looked to her parentssmiling before walking off leaving sunny to chase after her.

Both parents chuckled stepping closer to each other looking at their daughters bicker and push each other while walking to the strawberry booth.

"What are we gonna do with them?", Ryeon said with a smile.

"Prevent them from killing each that's what.", Joong-gil responded with his own smile adoring his face.

Arriving at the booth the bickering of both sisters toned down and bowed to the vendor.

"Hello, what can I do for you both today?", the vendor greeted with a polite smile.

"umm could we have one strawberry with chocolate drizzle please?", Nabi responded returnng the smile.

"Just one?", the vendor asked

"Yes please, she doesn't want one.", Nabi responded while pointing over her shoulder to Sunflower who was staring at the jewelery booth next to them.

"Okay, Which type of chocolate do you want on it?", the vendor asked.

"Umm what tyoe do you have?", Nabi responded

"We have white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate and a special german chocolate.", the vendor said.

"Ouuu, I'm not sure.", Nabi said placing a finger to her chin thoughtfully.

"The milk chocolate.", A male voice said from beside her.

This cause both sisters to turn their voice to the tall male next to them dressed in a suit with with work ID hanging from around his neck as the leans forward to point on the milk chocolate mixture at the stall. 

"Ahh really?Is that one good?", Nabi asked.

The young man nod at the girl and smiled.

"I always get that one everytime I come here.", He responds

"Ahh I'll try it then.", She said directing her words to the vendor who nods and proceeds to create the product before handing it to the girl.

She took the product and paid the vendor before turning to her sister and the young man who was waiting to see her reaction to the product.

"Are you sure you don't want one?", she asked her sister who shook her head in disagreement.

"I'm good, you enjoy it", Sunflower responded.

Nabi took a bite from the strawberry and immediately widened her ers in delight.

"It's soo good.", she said

"Right! It's the best.", The young man said just as enthusiastic as her while Sunny watched the scene with a smile at the interaction.

"Thank you for suggesting it. It truly is the best.", Nabi said and bowed to him quickly.

"It's no problem really umm....", He drifted off suggesting her to state her name.

"Ohh It's Kwan, Park Kwan but you can call me Nabi", she said  then turned to her sister.

"This is my sister Jae but people call her Sunflower or Sunny.", she continued.

"Ahh nice to meet you both, My name is Choi Joong-woong.", He said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you too.....Can I call you Woongie?", Nabi asked with a smile and he nod enthusiastically .

"Great let's meet again Woongie."Nabi said before Taking her sister's hand and pulling her towards the Jewellery booth she was staring at.

Joong-woong watched as they walked away with a fond smile on his face. His entire filled with a sense of familiarity at the interaction. 

His eyes then drifted to the couple standing a few booths away from him. The lady staring at the two girls lovingly while the man clad in full black held eye contact with him glaring at him.

Joong-woong felt a cold chill run through him at the glare he was receiving from the man. However, that feeling was cut short when the two girl walked up to the couple showing off the matching anklets they just bought before the group walked off together.

"Huh? They seem so familiar somehow.", he whispered to himself before shaking his head.

"I must be going crazy. I need to sleep.", he concluded before rubbing his forehead with his hands walking off.

In the process he bumped into a hard figure.

"Oh sorry, sorry.", he said bowing a few times.

"It's okay.", he heard from the stranger.

He took that as confirmation and bowed once more before walking off.

Ryung-gu watched as Joong-woong made his way through the crowd before he continued walking forward.

A couple steps and he stopped looking at the group infront of him at a gaming stall.

The man in black trying to win a prize while the lady with the pink hair cheered him on with the help of a teen in yellow.

He stared at them with fondness until his eyes drifted to the other teen whose laughter filled the air as she watches the man struggle to shoot the bottle off the shelf.

His eyes once filled with fondness now filled with adoration and longing as he stared at the girl.

" I'll wait for you Nabi-ah", he whispered to himself as a stray tears rolled down his face that was adored with a smile as he look at the scene of pure joy in front of him.
