Mr. Lee was lying on his bed gasping for air in visible pain.
"Sir" Jun-woong says with concern lacing his voice as he glanced over the elderly man's state.
"Don't speak, try to take deep breaths" Ryung-gu commented in concern to the elderly man.
"Sir, the hospital. Let's go to the hospital", Jun-woong muttered " No, I should call 911 first" Jun-woong continues as he frantically searched for his phone.
Jun-woong gets up to make the call but is stopped by Ryun-gu.
"Mr. Choi, there's no point. Stop" Ryun-gu says placing a hand on Jun-Woong's to stop his movement.
"But he might live if we get him treated" Jung-woong exclaims almost on the verge of tears.
"Mr. Choi," Ryung-gu says sternly but is cut off by Joon-woong
"I mean we have to do something!" Joon-woong shouts.
"No, people's designated lifespans never change. It is preordained.", Ryung-gu says looking at Mr. Lee as he continues to gasp for air.
Joong-woong moves to sit by his side and tries to comfort him as best as he can.
"It's fine, I'm fine, we knew from the moment that we met". Mr. Lee struggles to say through his pain.
Joon-woong, having enough, gets up and opens the door only to be met by Ryeon, Sunny, and, Nabi.
"Where are you going?" Ryeon inquires turning to face his direction.
" I can't watch," Jun-woong said wiping tears from his eyes.
"You expect me to just stand by and watch when he's in so much pain?" he continues.
"Mr. Lee Young-Chun's life is over," Ryeon says in a soft tone.
" I know. I know. I know but... What can I do when I can't help it?"Joong-woong responds in sorrow.
"Okay. Then you stay here. But are you confident you won't regret this choice?" Ryeon asked causing Jun-woong to look down.
" Come back in when you've composed yourself. Don't be late" Ryeon said placing a hand on his shoulder as she entered the house.
Joon-woong glances at Nabi and Sunny who stared back at him with sympathetic eyes. He looked at them before he walked away.
Sunny turns to Nabi "I'll go check on him" Sunny says to her sister not waiting for a response as she made her way after Joon-woong.
Nabi looked at their retreating figures before heading inside.
Sunny rounds the corner to find a crying Joon-woong by a light post, "Joon-woong" she says announcing her presence.
