Sora's POV

Early the next morning, a couple of villagers helped me put my baggage on the ship. Most of the village folk came to say goodbye, wish me good luck or good fortune, excreta. My parents were the last ones to send me off and I tried my best not to tear up as I hugged my mother.

"We love you, Sora," She cooed. "Please promise me you'll be careful."

"I will, Mama," I reassured her. "I promise."

"Sora," Papa began. "I'm sorry that Grandpa couldn't make it due to his work, but he sends you his best wishes. Just try to keep in touch with us. And visit us whenever you can okay? We would love to hear future stories of your travels."

I smiled and hugged him tightly. "Okay, Papa! I will do my best to keep in touch."

'Thank you too, Grandpa', I thought to myself. 'I'm glad that you were able to let me go on this journey.'

After all of my bags and boxes are on the ship, I got on, undo the rope from the post at the dock and start it up. With one final goodbye to my family, friends and the villagers of Cosmilyte, I finally set sail.

Looking back for a moment, I teared up a little but wiped them away and faced the sunrise in the distance. I knew that I will miss my home but I can't let that cloud my mind. It's time for me to start my new life in the world of Windborough.

??'s POV

'It seems as though the Aquarius Astral-Touched girl is on her ship leaving her home.' I thought to myself with a chuckle. 'Perhaps now will be a good time to introduce her to one of her own.' I turned to face one of my subordinates, Cassiopeia. "Cassiopeia," I ordered. "Send your little puppet after the girl. Her Aquarius Gem must be captured at once."

Cassiopeia, a beautiful woman with long indigo hair, fair skin, and a beautiful face that barely strike a familiar face shape to an Earthling feline, bowed her head in response. "Of course," she said. "I will see to it that she gets the gem for you as requested."

"Good." I crooned with a sinister smile. Our mission is about to begin and no matter what, it must be accomplished.

Sora's POV

I saw a cute island town nearby after flying the ship all morning. This may be a good chance to stalk up on food and supplies since my journey was going to be a long one.

I settled the ship to a stop at the port, tied the rope to the post there and got off. Staring at the view gave off this sort of soft bustling vibes to it. This is almost like how my village was back in Cosmilyte. I really admired this feeling a lot, so I decided to take a tour around the town.

Huntress's POV

I try to keep a safe distance as I follow the Aquarius Astral-Touched girl around. My client wanted me to make sure I retrieve the Aquarius Gem for her master, whoever he is, for unknown reasons. Whatever they are, I will complete it. My reputation as a hunter depends on it.

Now that I look at her however, she doesn't seem like the type of person to get into a fight. Then again, I can't get let my guard down. As I saw her walk into a shop and buy certain goods, I stayed outside and out of sight as to not make everyone think I'm a stalker of some sort. No matter what it may take, I must fight her before she leaves otherwise, I'll lose the chance of a lifetime.

Sora's POV

Wow! I can't believe how much I've stalked up! This should be enough to sustain me for almost half a year. As I carry all the stuff I have back to the ship, I was suddenly brought to a stop and looked around. Obviously there was nothing there but I can't help but feel like someone's watching me.

Either way, I tried to ignore it as I put all the stuff I bought in the ship's storage room before looking at myself in the mirror nearby. 'Hm', I thought. 'Maybe I should get a new outfit before I leave. I can't go around looking like this.' I decided to step out of the ship and head into town one more time to buy some clothes. Fortunately for me, there was a clothing shop nearby so I entered and started looking around.

After some time, I finally bought and tried on some clothes I liked; a blue breathable sweater with light blue Indigenous patterns (or was it Aztec? I can't remember) and a feather on each sleeve, a pair of brown shorts, white leggings and a pair of black boots with silver buckles. I also bought a compass like necklace and really cute light blue scarf to make it more cool. I looked at myself in the mirror again and was very pleased with myself!

As I was getting ready to take off however, I heard someone say, "Stop right there!"

I didn't realize how much fun it is to actually to write this. It's almost like I was shopping along with Sora. I know I kind of ended this on a cliffhanger but trust me. The next chapter will be worth it. ☺️ *Edited October 15*
