Sketch 10 Conflict Between Members

Sora's POV

We were suddenly met by a wolf like creature but it doesn't look like it wants to hurt us. Its had a masculine body but also a wolf's head and is covered with dark brown fur. He also had silver eyes..which is rare. I've never seen anyone with silver eyes. They shine just like the moon.

When he opened his muzzle, a deep voice came out that sent chills down my spine in a comforting way. "What are your names and why are you here?"

"M-my name is Sora Breeze," I stammered then cleared my throat to maintain composure before speaking again. "And this is Kyu-Kyun. She's a star fairy."

Kyu-Kyun greeted the wolfman cutely by waving her hands at him and I could've sworn I saw a smile form on his muzzle.

"Arista Iris," Arista reluctantly introduced. "We actually came here to look for the Gemini Gem-."

"Well she is," I butted in. "We just saw the fireworks when we arrived and we wanted to check out what's going on."

"I see," the wolfman spoke again. "My name is Vyse Soma. I am a Lycaon. Those fireworks you saw are actually set off because we are holding a festival. We do this every 20 years to celebrate the selection of a new chief of the pack."

"Chief?"

"He means a leader, you idiot." Arista interjected. She did not seem in the mood at all for info. That's what makes me concerned. "How did you know we were coming here?"

"We Lycaons have a hyper sense of smell. We can detect anything from far off whether if it's an animal, one of our own or enemy forces." Vyse answered.

I gulped at the last part. I'm glad that I wasn't part of the enemies.. whoever they are. He then looked down at my Aquarius mark and his stare seemed to grow a little suspicious. "Are you girls-?"

"My, we have visitors!" Another deep voice greeted, but this one is a little higher than Vyse's. A white furred Lycaon stood by Vyse with a greeting smile on his muzzle. His eyes was light yellow, almost pale but I can totally see the feel of hospitalism in them.

Arista finally spoke again but was really frustrated. "I wish we could stick around but we are looking for the Gemini Gem. We don't have time to join the party."

Vyse POV

What I saw was probably much more troubling than asserting dominance over a victim. I saw two Aerobian women fighting with each other. Not with fists and feet but with words. They yelled at each other about this Gemini Gem which got Lucius seriously stern. I suddenly noticed the soft, lilac star fairy, Kyu-Kyun, in tears. I couldn't stand seeing someone cry so I spoke up.

"Hey! That's enough. Kyu-Kyun is about to cry," I began but Arista interrupted me by shrieking. "What exactly is wrong with you, Water Girl!? You're too soft and naive to be considered an Astral-Touched Warrior let alone a leader of this group!! I don't even know why the Aquarius Avatar gave you his mark!!"

She really has done it now. I saw tears fill up Sora's eyes. "H..how could you..?" She murmured sniffling. She then just ran off sobbing hard with a worried Kyu-Kyun following after her. Lucius then gave me the stern look I know all too well.

"Go after her. I will have a serious lecture with this other one." Lucius growled in a serious tone. I nod and go after Sora to talk to her.

I nearly teared up writing this because I'm not the type of person to be in or cause conflict with other people. But I guess all I can do is that Sora and Arista find some way to make up with each other and get along. Tell me what you think of this chapter.
