Since child Takemichi is different from others,he can see unknown numbers in someone's head or wrist.Takemichi was confused back then but decided to ignore it until…

Takemichi is walking down in the streets with his earphones when he accidentally bumped into a old lady,the old lady's belongings fell on the ground, Takemichi reacted  and quickly stand up and help her,picking the old lady's belongings,after helping her he apologized and it appears again,the numbers[0:54]he pays no attention to it as the old lady tell him that's it's okay and leave then suddenly…while the old lady is crossing the road,she didn't notice a speeding car was coming towards her direction,Takemichi shouted but it's too late,the old lady got hit and died a few seconds.Takemichi of course blamed himself and felt guilty so he pays the old lady's funeral and apologized to the old lady's relatives which they accept.After that incident Takemichi do some research and found out that he can see someone's life pan and the numbers he always saw was someone's life pan before dying.

After knowing this Takemichi keep it as a secret,terrified that his friends will be freak out and scared if he tell them so he keep it as a secret,no one knows his secret except one person…his partner Chifuyu,chifuyu got suspicions when he heard Takemichi tell Baji not to die,he got suspicions at it but keep quiet until he heard him whispered "1 day,22 hours,44 minutes,246 seconds" he heard this but paid no mind until the bloody fight happens it's the same calculation before Baji killed himself and died.After his funeral chifuyu comforted Takemichi and make him spilled his secret and it did Takemichi told him his secret that he can see someone's life pan,he is shock.Takemichi noticed it and look down expecting chifuyu to be scared and break their friendship but to his shock chifuyu hug him.
Chifuyu:that's must be hard for you…partner
Chifuyu said while hugging Takemichi,Takemichi is relieved that chifuyu is still his friend,from that day on Takemichi and chifuyu's friendship grows.
