Once Tori stopped crying and shaking, I pulled her away from me and grabbed the bag on her bed.

I was full of several razor blades, some rusted, others shining as if they were brand new. "Have you used all of these?"

She didn't say anything, she just looked down and played with a string on her jeans.

I took her hands in mine and she looked up at me. "Promise me that you're not going to do this to yourself anymore. Please. I don't want to lose you."

She bit her lip and nodded and I pulled her into another hug. "Now, why don't we go downstairs and I'll make you a milkshake."

I stood up and helped her up. She followed me downstairs and into the kitchen. I shoved the bag into my pants pocket and got the ingredients out for a milkshake.

I turned around and Tori was staring at Debby, who was sitting in the dining room. "Debby, do you want a milkshake?" She looked up and nodded.

"You can go sit down," I spoke to Tori. "I promise she doesn't bite." I smiled and Tori sat down across from Debby.

"You must be the Tori Josh doesn't stop talking about. It's so nice to finally meet you." I heard Debby say.

I smiled to myself and made three milkshakes for us.

I sat down next to Tori and put the milkshakes in the middle of the table, reaching for one.

"Do you think you're calm enough to tell me what happened tonight?" I asked Tori. She took a long sip from her shake and set it down.

"Lily, the girl I've been having issues with told me to kill myself." I nearly spit my shake out. "Your high school experience is SO different than mine was," Debby commented.

"That's not okay! Did anyone hear her say that?" She shrugged and messed with the cup. "It doesn't matter, they won't do anything about it."

I pulled her into a side hug and she relaxed into my side.

"Tori, I love your hair color." Debby smiled at Tori and Tori thanked her. "I need to change it up soon. I don't know what color yet."

I lit up, "We should match colors! We'll color yours pink!" Tori smiled and nodded. "Okay, why not?"

We finished our milkshakes and I grabbed my keys so we could make a trip to Sally's to pick up some hair dye and bleach.
