Jeremy and Caelum sigh, as the latter presses the button for the next episode to start.

"I feel like we should be doing something!" Caelum exclaims, making Jeremy look at them. "It doesn't feel right to just sit here!"

"I know, Caelum. It makes me feel sick to my stomach knowing that our sister might die and never come back tonight. We don't know if the elixir will work."

"I know. It makes me feel worse because that's my soulmate's brother! He might be crazy, but he is family to me! How can I love someone even though he's trying to kill my sister?"

"I don't understand what you are feeling, but you feel that way because he is family. Elena might be a part of your biological family, but Klaus is your soulmate's brother and family, which makes it your family. Don't feel bad because you love part of your family."

"Thank you for that. I need to get my head out of the gutter."

"You do." Jeremy said with a laugh, which Caelum returned.

As they sat on the couch, show playing in the background, Caelum's phone began to ring.

"Who's calling?"

"Care is." Caelum and Jeremy exchange a look before they answer. "Hey, what's-"

Caelum cut themself off as they heard chains clanging in the background.

"Caelum. I need to be quick. Someone took Tyler and I to the old Lockwood cellar. Please help. We're chained and I'm under vervain."

"I'm coming."

Caelum and Jeremy march through the woods, stopping when they hear footsteps. Caelum presses a finger to their mouth, symboling to keep quiet.

"There's another witch." Caelum mouths. "Let me handle it." Jeremy nods, and Caelum slips into the brush.

As the other witch moves around, walking in circles, Caelum sneaks behind him. They trip him, making him fall to the ground roughly.

"Why hello there." Caelum smirks. The other witch tries to get up, but they fall to the ground again. "No, no. Let's have some manners. What's your name?"

"Who are you? Why can't I move?" He snarls out, and Caelum tsks.

"Rude. I guess I'll have to find out for myself." With a touch Caelum enters the other's memories. "Hello Maddox. Now I know you have my friends so let's make this easy. Give them to me, or else."

"Go to hell." He replies.

"So it'll be the hard way." Caelum pushes him back onto the ground, and flicks their fingers as they chant.

"What..what are you doing to me!?" Maddox screams out.

"Oh, little old me? I'm simply stripping you of your magic."

Maddox's eyes widen, and he whimpers. "No, please. I'm begging you."

"Oh I like it when men beg. But I've made up my mind." Caelum states as they finish chanting, the magic rushing through their body from Maddox. "But I do hate to do this. Sorry, but there's no way for you to live."
