Thoma was confused, he had no idea what to do. He assumed the safest approach would be. To ask Itto of course. After all, he was Ayato's best friend, or as Itto liked to say it, his best bro. Thoma figured he'd be around the dorms and, he was right. Itto was there, looking right then left then right again, He was scared Gorou or Ms. Kujou might see him. Thoma walked up to him, slightly poked him and Itto jumped back, almost falling, and screaming like a young girl. He quickly cleared his throat and spoke in his normal voice: 
"Hey hey my dude... Thoma!... Don't mention what you just heard in front of anyone, you'll be doing a bro a solid favor. uhhh, speaking of, Have you seen class prez anywhere? I'd like to avoid him at all costs y'know..." 

"Uhm, actually, I haven't. I was here to ask you something.." 

"HE WHAT?!" Itto yelled then quickly covered his mouth, Gorou might've heard that. He didn't want to spend his free time studying with the class prez. Okay maybe not the studying bit, he liked the class prez a lot, as he said the class prez made him feel all 'fuzzy and warm inside'. I mean, The class prez's hair was really soft like a groomed dog's fur... We're going off-topic. 
"So.. he invited you but not his best bro?! How could he." Itto replied, almost sounding tearful. 

"Well, do you have any advice?" 

"One second, I need a moment to take this in.." Saying that, he'd take a deep breath or maybe it was two, he inhaled pretty fast. 
"Oh yeah, he never invites anyone. Either he likes you or"

"Or?" 

"Or he wants to beat you up, knock you out and end your life." Itto replied, in the most cheerful optimistic-sounding way. Thoma sweated, really bad. He hoped the cause was the first one, even though he wished it kind of wasn't. Well, Ayaka was busy and he didn't want to disappoint Ayato, If he went to Gorou, he'd go nuts and Kazuha is always around that guy. 

So, Thoma quietly went back to his dorm, he pulled his phone out and saw a few text messages. Apparently, class 2B decided to make a class group and, it was filled with conversations and Gorou messaging in caps, directed at Itto. Thoma scrolled, none of these numbers were saved, he only guessed and also with the help of the profiles. Soon, almost everyone was saved except, this unknown number. He couldn't figure it out because the profile was only available to friends, well, till Lumine, the most popular girl in class, someone who loves going around other classes and doesn't get yelled at ever for it just tagged the number and the message included: 

<Lumine> "Heyy, Ayato! You're online, why don't ya chat like always??" 
<Unknown> "I didn't feel like it." 
<Itto> "Who are you and what did you to do my bro?!" 
<Gorou> "Finally you speak! Where are you?!" 
<Itto> "Fuck-" 
<Kazuha> "I am staring at him, he seems most tense" 
<Gorou> "Kazuha, where are you?" 
<Itto> "NONONO, YOU WOULD NEVER SNITCH ON A BRO LIKE THAT, RIGHT??" 
<Kazuha> "Staircase."

That interaction got a chuckle out of Thoma, wow, they can be real dorks, In a funny way of course. Well, at least he found out who the mysterious person was, and seeing as to how Itto and Lumine reacted to him not being active, it made Thoma more nervous. He was about to change to his more, casual clothing before a message popped up. Thoma checked it,

<Lumine> "Aya-Kunn is this nervousness considering we finally added Thoma to the gc??~" 
<Yoimiya> "Ooohhh!~" 
<Ayato> "What." 
<Kazuha> "I am sure many people saw you talking to him yesterday." 
<Ayato> "No, it was in no such way." 
<Aether> "Can you all stop talking so much, unlike you, I am actually trying to study." 
<Lumine> "Just mute the chat, idiot." 
<Aether> "Fuck off, would you? I am trying to encourage our classmates." 
<Thoma> "I'd like to know who got motivated" 
<Ayato> "Thoma, do you remember what I told you?" 
<Yoimiya> "Huh?" 
<Lumine> "This is getting juicy! was it a love confession?!" 
<Thoma> "No- it wasn't--" 
<Lumine> "THEY ARE BOYFRIENDS!" 
<Yoimiya> "Passing the phone to Ayaka, good luc- BROTHER?! WHAT DID YOU SAY TO POOR THOMA?" 
<Ayato> "This is a misunderstanding. We were merely talking, and what we talked about was none of your business." 
<Lumine> "Then why be so secretive?~" 
<Yoimiya> "Did he just go offline." 
<Aether> "Did he just go offline?*, You're welcome."
