"Someone seems to be in high spirits." Lumine said, to well, the happy blonde boy in front of her.

"I... Heh, I am! I told you how Ayato-san called me over right?" Thoma's face went bright pink.

Lumine gasped, "SO HE CONFESSED?! YOU'RE FINALLY TOGETHER?!"

"Uh... No, not really..." Thoma said which made Lumine's face drop, so he quickly added,

"He.. He gifted me a bouquet! Of Windwheel Aesters! The kind you gave me once." Thoma smiled, thinking about the previous day's events once again.

"Ohhh... Wait, You love those flowers! Are you sure he didn't confess?!"

"Of course I'm sure, Lumine-san. Wouldn't I have told you right away if it had happened?" Thoma smiled again.

"Okay, that's true. And Ayato would've told team bo...." Lumine paused,

"Team what now?" Thoma asked.

"Nothing... Nothing! Anyways, tell me more!" Lumine quickly changed the topic.

"Well.. He invited me to the cafe again but for study purposes."

"Wait... That cafe?! Again?! He's only ever brought one person and that was. Gorou of all people! And before you ask, no, he doesn't like Gorou. It was a studying plan I think, I'm not sure. You could ask him. But! He is gonna bring you there again?! This guy definitely likes you."

"Quit giving me false hope, Lumi-san." Thoma crossed his arms and frowned as Lumine looked at him with a "fed up" expression,
"I swear to the archons above Thoma..."

Thoma entered the cafe and immediately saw Ayato sitting there with a bag next to him. Thoma quickly walked to him, sitting opposite him.

"Hello, Ayato-san! How are you?" Thoma said, sitting down.

"Ah, Greetings Thoma. I am fine, I presume you've had a good day though. Mind sharing?" Ayato had a small smile on his face as soon as he saw Thoma sit down.

"Oh.. Me?" Thoma let out a little laugh, "I'm just happy. Nothing much." He smiled back.

"Heh, I'll take your word for it. Though, I was feeling quite troubled a few seconds ago. I need you to clear something up for me." Ayato said.

Thoma immediately answered without a second thought, "What is it, Ayato-san?"

"You're fine with eating Dango, right? I ordered some along with Boba before you came. Though, I have to go take it personally today. Ms. Ferry isn't present according to Hu Tao."

"Oh! I am perfectly fine with anything Ayato-san." Thoma smiled, How thoughtful of Ayato to be worried about something as small as that.

(It was as if he was a husband trying to take care of his wife... Oh. I shouldn't say so much 🤭)

"That's perfect then. Perhaps, I can change your opinion on 'fine with anything' with my cooking." Ayato looked at Thoma with a mischievous look, It made Thoma feel sick in the stomach already... Would Ayato-san poison him? Surely not... Well, he'll happily accept.
