"Do we really need to be reminded of how lonely some of us are?" Venti huffed, "in the morning too."

"Not our fault no one likes you, is it?" Ningguang replied, holding onto her lover (Beidou) with just one hand.

"You don't need to be so bluntly harsh, do you now, Mrs. Tianquan?" Venti replied with a smile,

"Contain me Beidou for I may fail in the next 15 seconds." Spoke Ningguang as she let go of Beidou, to which, Beidou stared at Venti and said,
"So, what's gonna be today's payment? Dandelion wine, perhaps? You owe me one from last time too."

"I- uh." Venti hesitated, but seeing how, Ningguang braced herself and Beidou with a cheeky smile, saying 'Better make up your mind fast.' He reluctantly obliged, to which Beidou grabbed Ningguang by the waist as soon as she was about to walk closer to Venti.

"8 pm, angel's share" Venti spoke in a dramatically upset tone.

"Isn't that the tavern in mondstadt owned by the Raginvindrs?" Ningguang questioned and Venti's face lit up,
"Oh! So they are being famous among not-so-casual drinkers of Liyue now?"

"Ahm.. I'm not sure about that, but, I know that because of the boy that studies here. He's learning commerce and asks me for tips at times. He seems like a keen learner." Ningguang informed,

"Diluc! I know him!" Venti smiled as laughter came from behind him,

"Know as in, what Master Barbatos? Known to be hated by him?" Yae Miko giggled from behind as Venti's smile turned into a nervous one,
"Well.. He's just always in a bad mood, not my fault."

"Not all the time, but go on." Lisa remarked from behind. Who was she? The librarian's favorite. Shes like the mentor in place of the librarian, still a student.

"Excuse my manners, isn't someone supposed to be watching the library?" Kokomi asked the girl to which she only smiled,
"They don't dare to steal, nor do they dare to make a noise, madame. I always have the situation under control." Saying that, Lisa left, with some coffee in hand. That was probably for the librarian.

"Am I really the only guy here?" Venti suddenly asked, all attention on him, Sara replied,
"No. You aren't. Someone is just a little too busy with his phone today. For starters."

Attention goes over to Zhongli as Sara points in the direction, the old man was just staring at his mobile, a slight smile peaking on his lips.

"Zhongli?! ZHONGLI?! ARE YOU ALRIGHT? WHAT." Venti exclaimed, questioned and went through the 5 stages of grief.
"BUT- HE NEVER SMILES. OH MY GOD, ARE THE RUMORS OF YOU TRUE?!"

Zhongli looked up from his phone with a neutral, yet confused expression.
"Pardon?"

"Don't you dare act dumb, everyone saw you."

"Are you seriously still into rumors? You're 26 for fuck's sake." Sara basically scolded Venti.

"No, no! You'd only know this if you were friends with him since middle school, He literally barely ever smiles!"

"Pardon me, what rumors?" Zhongli sounded confused.

"Rumors of 'Zhongli-sama getting a girlfriend." Venti cleared, "so you're leaving my single forever gang?!"
