Luke grinned, his eyes still on mine.

"What are you even doing here?"

"Um, I'm here for a beer."He smirked.

"I thought you weren't allowed to drink?"

"I don't give a fuck." He said. "Give me a fucking beer."

I stepped back away from the counter, I looked around for Michael but not seeing him any where.

"I can't." I said, calmly. I ignored the anger that was building inside me. I couldn't lose my job over a stupid asshole. "We are closed."

"Bullshit!" Luke yelled.

"Is there a problem?" Michael said, coming out of the back room and stopping next to me.

"Yes." Luke said. "Malik here won't give me a beer."

"Well, it's closing time we aren't selling anymore." Michael said.

"There is still two minutes until the places closes down."

"Luke,go home." I said. "You aren't suppose to be here! From the looks of it you have had enough to drink."

"I don't fucking care!" Luke yelled, slamming his fist against the counter.

"Luke, if you don't leave now I'm going to call the police." Michael pulled his cell phone out of his pocket.

"Stay out of the Clifford! This is between Malik and I." He turned back to me. "Is there anything thing you want to tell me I can't have? I can't have Perrie, I can't have my baby and now I can't have a beer?"

"Luke, you made that decision yourself when you laid a hand on Perrie. You don't deserve any of them."

"Neither do you!" He snapped. He leaned over the counter, his face inches from mine, his teeth clenched. "She was mine first and you stole her from me!"

His breath reeked of beer and cigarettes, turning my stomach.

"Times up!" Michael said. "Get out, Luke and don't bother coming."

Luke backed up." This isn't over, Malik!" Shooting me one last glance before turning. "You haven't seen the last of me!" He stumbled knocking a few chairs down on his way out. I took a deep breath and leaned against the counter, rubbing my temples.

"What the hell was that about?" Michael asked.

"Luke use to date Perrie. He beat and raped her."

"Oh. wow." He said. "Wait, the baby isn't yours?"

"No." I said, softly. "It's his."

"Oh." He said.

"Perrie told him she didn't want him near her or the baby so he's pretty angry which all of this his fault anyway."

"He's a punk. He's always been that way." Michael said. "Hemmings and I use to be in a band together in high school. He got into drug and drinking, he got aggressive with our drummer. Ashton almost quit but decided to stay once we kicked Luke out."

"Oh, wow. So he's always been like this?"

"Yes, as long as I've known him."

"He's such a douchbag. He just better leave Perrie alone. I have so much anger built inside me for him. It won't end well."

" Your best bet is to just stay away from him."

"I will as long as he does."

Michael closed the register and locked it. "Let's get out of here."
