Everything happened so quickly; the gun going off, people screaming. Perrie's eyes met mine, they were full of fear and sorrow. She clutched her abdomen, her hand coming up bloody. My whole world slowed down as she fell to the ground. Jesy was screaming and crying, calling out Perrie's name. She fell to her knees next to her, placing Perrie's head on her lap.

"Perrie, look at me. Keep your eyes open! Do not go to sleep, baby. Stay with me." Tears streaked her face. "Someone call and ambulance!"

No one moved, everyone was shocked, including me. My body was numb. I felt frozen to the ground.

"Why are you just standing there! Someone help!" Jesy yelled at the top of her lungs. "Zayn!"

I heard my name and looked up. Everyone was rushing around. I finally got the strength and moved toward where Jesy and Perrie were on the ground. A lup grew in my throat but I spoke anyway.

"Perrie, listen to my voice." My voice broke. "Fight, baby girl. You can't leave us. Zoe needs you, I need you, baby."

"Zayn..."Perrie said, faintly, her voice breaking. "Be..her..hero."

"No, baby girl. Be her fighter!"

Perrie's eyes started to close as she drifted off into darkness.

"I..love..you." She whispered.

The ambulance pulled up, the EMT's rushed out with a stretcher.

"What do we have?" One EMT said to another.

"Pregnant female, shot in lower abdomen, about eighteen to nineteen years old."

"She barely has a pulse!" A guy yelled.

They quickly but carefully moved her to the stretcher.

"She needs medical care quick!" The older man yelled to the driver as they loaded her into the back.

"Go with her!" Zayn said.

"She needs you too, Zayn!" Jesy told me.

"I got something to finish here!" I said.

"Is this about Luke?"

I nodded.

"It can fucking wait!"She yelled. "She's fighting for her fucking life!"

"I'm sorry." I told her.

"We have to go!" The EMT yelled.

"Wait!" Jesy said. "Zayn, please!"
