Tom and Emily, were sitting on the couch in their house, discussing the invitations for their wedding.

"And what about Joe? Should we count a plus one for him?" Emily asked.

"Umm, I don't know. Maybe he's talking to that Taylor girl, maybe he isn't" Tom replied thoughtfully. He knew how they were enemies earlier, but he couldn't help but admit, that he had a splendid time with Taylor. He wanted her at his wedding, either as Joe's date, or alone.

After a mere seconds of silence, Emily suggested, "You know what? Why don't we call him?" Without waiting for an answer, she grabbed her mobile phone and dialed Joe, keeping it on speaker.

After a few rings, Joe picked it up.

"Hey Em! Sup?" Joe asked, from the other side.

"I'm fine. I just needed to ask one thing" Emily said.

"Well, how can I help you?"

"Do you still talk to the girl, umm, what was her name..." She said, intentionally pretending to forget Taylor's name.

"Taylor?" He guessed.

"Yes. Taylor, right. You still in touch with her?" She hesitantly asked, biting her nails.

"Erm...I am sensing that I'm gonna be in trouble soon" He replied, dodging the question.

"Look, we, I mean not me, but Tom and Patrick, they wanna invite Taylor to the wedding. Is it okay with you?" She asked, delicately.

He sighed and then answered, "I don't know. If you wanna invite her, then go ahead. Its your wedding!!!"

"What? Really? Thats great. Thanks" Emily said, looking excitedly at Tom, who was trying hard to suppress his squeal. She declined the call and wrote Taylor's name on one card.

Taylor was back in her hometown, Nashville, since a few days. She met her dad, her annoying brother, and also her dad's girlfriend, who wasn't that bad. But most importantly, she felt even more connected to her mother. Her family had noticed how weirdly thin she got, and the regular shine on her face was gone. They got worried about her, but they decided not to speak anything about it.

They were all sitting in the living room, with the movie playing in the background. Taylor was just chatting normally, when she noticed her dad staring at her with those caring eyes.

"Umm dad, everything alright?" She asked.

Scott blinked and responded, "Yeah, I'm fine. Its just that you've grown to look so much like your mother. If she was here right now, she would've appreciated it so much!!"

Taylor returned a smile and said, "Thanks dad. I'm sure she is happy right now"

She tried not to cry, because since she came back here, everything she saw, reminded her of Andrea. She was really attached to this place and missed her terribly. One part of her had accepted the fact that her father needed someone else, who was Lauren, but another part wished that Lauren was dead, instead of her mother.

"Okay, so what are you gonna do today Teffy?" Austin, her brother asked.

"Ummm nothing really. I thought I would visit mom and thats it" She replied casually.

"Oh, then after that, we can maybe go to the arcade like we used to?" He suggested. Taylor was rather confused by his suggestion because she wasn't expecting him to be like a child again. She was gonna say no, but said yes, because she needed a break from all the sorrows for once, and wanted to have some fun.
