THE five were at Sonic Boom having their first official meeting for both Austin and Ally. Now that Ally had overcome her stage fright, Trish had started managing her alongside Austin.
"Ally, it seems like only yesterday, we were standing here picking up the pieces from the cello Dez and I broke." Austin reminisced.
"That was yesterday." Dakota reminded him.
"And you still owe me three hundred dollars for it." Ally told him.
"Let's not live in the past." Austin moved along. "How about we get this meeting started? Who are we gonna talk about first?"
"We've come up with a system for that." Trish spoke. "Dez is going to shoot a violin bow and drumstick arrow at a target. Observe."
Trish clicked a button on a remote and a cut out of Austin and Ally with targets on them popped up behind the counter.
"And I'll do it blindfolded, so you don't think I'm playing favorites." Dez aimed the arrow at them making them all duck out of fear.
Dez then shot the drumstick and knocked down a stand of tambourines instead of hitting a target.
"Aw I just set those up." Dakota whined.
"Let's just talk about Austin first." Dez said.
"Austin it is." Trish said. "Austin, you asked me schedule a photo shoot, update your website, and you and Dakota wanted me to book a rehearsal space. I'm happy to report that all of those things are officially on my to-do list."
"Well I'm officially..." He trailed off when Trish glared at him. "Okay with that."
"I'm not I needed that space." Dakota mumbled folding her arms and leaning her head on Austin's shoulder so only Austin heard her and he nodded in response wrapping an arm around her.
"And Ally, I spoke to Jimmy Starr about giving you a record deal." Trish started. "I'm sorry, but he doesn't think it's a good idea to sign you."
"Well that no good hack wouldn't know talent if it hit him over the head." Dez argued.
"He signed me." Austin mentioned.
"That guy knows what he's doing." Dez took back.
"He thinks Ally's talented, he just doesn't think she and Austin should be signed to the same record label." Trish explained.
"I guess that makes sense." Ally agreed. "We shouldn't be competing for Jimmy's attention."
"I'm really sorry Ally. We'll come up with something." Austin told her.
"Already figured it out." Trish announced. "I got Ally an audition to perform at a concert for some other big name record execs!"
